Big rep PR on deadlift and the first time I've handled 600+ from the floor this year, maybe since my meet in October. Feeling really strong today. Might stretch this training cycle out two more weeks and rep 650lbs and then 675lbs and try 700x1 the week after. Should still have plenty of time for a meet prep if I do.

Awesome and looks like your injury has healed so that’s a good sign. Soon enough you’ll get that 700+ right off the floor!

After thinking about it on the drive home I think I'm gonna extend this training cycle three more weeks. Maybe throw some drol in at 50mg/day and just keep doing what I'm doing. There was a day in training last year I know I could've pulled 700+ and I said if I think it's there this year I'm gonna go for it. Still five months out from the meet I'm planning anyway.

What I'm thinking is a few sets of 3 with 650lbs next week, then a peak 675x2 the week after, then a moderate deload week and go for 700x1 the following week.

My third set of 600x3 yesterday the uneven deadlift platform caused my left side to crazy and pulled something in my shoulder. It's hurting on everything i do today, even reaching over my head. Might check out another local gym this week that has new platforms. The ones here are becoming too much of a hazard. So many dips in it the bar rolls everywhere and it's easy to go down in one on one side and end up hurt.

Maybe that's what's been causing your injuries, the condition of the platforms and/or the bars. Definitely check out a new local gym that has what you need and that are in much better condition and safer to use.

So here's where I'm at. I'm just finishing week five of the following:

200mg a week of test cyp (cruise dose)
300mg a week of test prop (for a total weekly test dose of 500mg)
450mg a week of NPP
50mg a day of Anavar
6iu a day of HGH, was 3-4iu until two weeks ago

The original plan was six weeks of this to maintain size and strength during a cut. I've successfully cut down to about where I want to be. Three weeks ago I was just screwing around and pulled 500x15 on deadlift, which was a tie for the most I've ever done and could probably have hit a few more reps. So last week ended up with 550x10 and yesterday 600x7.

Hitting 700lbs has been a long time goal of mine. Last year preparing for a meet there was a day in the gym I'm pretty sure I could've gotten it, but I didn't go for it. Ended up not getting it at the meet and regretted not just going for it when it was there. So now I feel like it's there and I'm going to go for it within the next few weeks.

So now my plan is extend this blast to a maximum of eight weeks, which would be three more weeks. Keep diet and training the same because why fix it if it's not broken. Planning on keeping gear the same except add some Anadrol at 25mg a day.

What I'd like to see on training is next Saturday 650lbs for 1-3 sets of 3. The following Saturday peak set of 675x2. Then the eighth week go for 700lbs. But if I go in next week or the week after and it feels like it's absolutely there I will go for it then.

My question is does this seem sensible? Keep everything the same with just the small addition of Anadrol for a little boost? I'm feeling really good on this blast and I think that's part of what's working so well. No sides, minimal AI usage (currently 0.5mg a week), sleep is good, etc. That's why I don't want to add much to it. Like I said not broken don't fix it.

If you can handle the extra oral go for it. Its only a few weeks

Yeah, I've actually run them together at 50mg each I think for three weeks. Just never run any orals longer than six weeks. But if it's there any week starting next week I'll go for it and end the blast that day.

200lbs

Front squat 285x5x5

Block pull worked up to 585x2 and called it

Dumbbell lunges 50's for 3x20

Chest supported row 3x15

Hamstring curls 3x15

Guess Saturday's deadlift session took it out of me. 585x2 block pull felt near max effort today. Probably go light on everything Thursday and just evaluate how I feel Saturday when I'm warming up for deadlift.

Overhead press 135lbs for 3x10

Beltless 5 count paused sumo squat 275x3, 285x3, 295x3, 305x3, 315x3

Close grip bench 225lbs for 3x15

Neutral grip pull ups 3x10

Worked out at this gym today with two people that could deadlift 800+ and three at 700+ according to their leaderboards. Also had a Westside Barbell belt squat machine.

Nice that must be motivating and bet you'll sign up there.

Deadlift 545x1, 585x1, 635x1, 635x3 @RPE8.5-9

Dips 5x30

Belt squats 5x20

Chest supported row 3x20

Hamstring curls 3x20

Well, today wasn't that day. Got a little off balance on the 635x1 and turned it into almost max effort. Rested about 10 minutes and came back and hit it for a fairly easy triple. Call it RPE 8.5 or 9. Definitely had plenty left in the tank. Probably pull a heavy double or single off blocks Tuesday and then come in next Saturday and do singles up to 665lbs and either go for 700x1 or stop at 665lbs and do a double.

I think what needs work currently is that rather than ripping the bar off the floor I've been working on slowly building up tension before breaking the bar off the floor. I think in the long run this will work better for now. Occasionally right now I'm pulling more on my overhand right and getting off balance. Watching the videos everything else is looking really good.
