Prediction for the Arnold Classic Columbus 2018

Just finished watching the interview with Rhoden. It was a really good interview but if you dont want to watch, I will sum it up for you.

Rhoden was feeling great about 5 weeks out from the Arnold. He complained to his coach Aceto that he was tired, and Rhoden never complains. Rhoden started feeling sick and puked all day and Aceto told him to go to the hospital. They took his blood and his hemoglobin was at 4, and they realized he had internal bleeding from 2 ulcers. Rhodens point of view how he didnt know what was going on and why the doctors were so serious made it entertaining. They gave him 6 blood transfusions so he had enough blood reproduce to normal levels. Doctors said this could have been going on for a while and Rhoden wonders if it effected his last 2 Olympia shows. He is dissapointed hes not doing the Arnold but he says he has something special for the Olympia this year.

I'm glad Rhoden is healthy and figured out what was wrong with him before its too late.

I would love to see Rhoden shock everyone and place second at the Olympia and beat Ramy and Bonac. But I dont think he could beat Phil, but he has the potential to give him a run for his money.

Back on topic with the Arnold, Bader Boodai also had a interview on RXMuscle and says Roelly Winklaar is in the best shape
of his life. We have seen Roelly beat Bonac before, would love to see Roelly take the Arnold.

So as the Arnold Classic approaches I'm going to update my prediction and add my prediction for the other classes as well. I'd love to hear what you guys predict too. After seeing update pics of both Bonac and Roelly, I'm going to change Roelly to spot number 1, with a close Bonac and Cedric in 2nd and 3rd. Who know Cedric could defend his title and take this show if he comes in like he did last time. Its always hit or miss with Cedric. Sadly with Dennis Wolf, hes looking great, but no where near the size he was. I will keep him in my 6th spot, but I have a feeling he wont even make it there.

Open Bodybuilding:
1. Roelly Winklaar
2. William Bonac
3. Cedric McMillin
4. Dexter Jackson
5. Max Charles
6. Dennis Wolf

I'm curios to see how Steve Kuclo, Lionel Beyeke and Hidetada place.

Now for 212. I dont follow this class as much, but I see Jose Raymond taking 1st, and Cisternino in 2nd. And cant forget about David Henry but his legs have been his weakness recently so I'll put him in 3rd. Curious to see how Kamal will do so I will throw him 4th.

212:
1. Jose Raymond
2. Guy Cisternino
3. David Henry
4. Kamal Elgargni

Classic Physique is fun to watch but I dont know a lot of the competitors. But I have a feeling the reigning champ Breon will take 1st.

Classic:
1. Breon Ansley

Mens Physique I dont follow at all.

Physique:
1. ????

Girls Fitness, I always like Bethany Wagner performance so I'll give her first.

Fitness:
1. Bethany Wagner

Figure I have no idea.

Figure:
1. ???

Bikini I'm going Angelica, shes very sexy. Search her up if you never seen her. And the only other name I know on that list is Gnarr so I'll give her 2nd.

Bikini:
1. Angelica Teixeira
2. Margret Gnarr

Womens Physique should be an easy win for Grant. Shes in her young 20's and looks insane. In my opinion she would have won at the Olympia last year but she couldnt make it because she had to have eye surgery. Give her a search if you want to see a crazy physique.

Physique:
1. Shanique Grant

Wheelchair I dont follow but I respect them all.

Sucks that kai won’t do the show. But anyways this is how I see it going

Dexter/Cedric 1-2 depends on Cedric if he brings the at the MrO he won’t win but if he looks like last year he’s got it in the bag.
3. Bonac
4. Winklaar
5. Justin Inlr
6. Wolf

Kai really let down his fans by not competing anymore.

Good prediction. Cedric has a great chance if he comes in conditioned. Arnold likes him, and I think Cedric fits the physique they are looking for at the Arnold. Would love to hear Cedrics speech again, that was hilarious last year.

Kia even hinted he would compete this year. Let hope that was not a false statement but I thing we can see the writing on the wall.

Kevins not in this Arnold, he will be in the next one. I love Levrone but I cant imagine him getting a good placement, his legs are too far behind his competitors.

I'm confused, this is the first time I've even heard of the Arnold classic being in Ohio this year, I thought it was just in Australia this year.

You mean to tell me there is 2 Arnold classics within weeks of each other?

After looking it up I just realized there was 2 arnolds, both within weeks of each other and I had no idea.

I watch Nick strength and power, fazi fitness for my updates on bodybuilding and all they have ever talked about is the one in Australia, so that's how I got confused.

Anyway I agree Kevin levrone will not win, but I would love it if he did.

Can never be too sure with Shakespeare.

Yes. There are 6 Arnold Classic events each year held in:
Ohio
Australia
Africa
Asia
Europe
South America

Last year in Ohio Cedric was our Champion making him the defending champ. And Brandon Curry took the win in Australia.

Thanks for the info!

I'm not deep enough in this world to make good predictions but Roelly has been looking amazing. His triceps are godlike. If Big Ramy can come in dry as hell he would be top 5 for sure. I guess I have a thing for that Kuwait look.

Used to be a huge Dennis wolf fan but man he's getting that old bodybuilder look. Not as full, weird skin, looser gut, etc. Some of his online pics are still very impressive but let's see how he does on stage.

Big Ramy would probably win the show if he was in it. Hes not competing in this Arnold.

Roelly does look insane, whatever there doing in Kuwait is working.

Dennis Wolf had neck surgery and hes been out of the game for 2 years. Usually with any major surgery it takes a big guy a long time to regain his size. In an interview prior to this he said he wants to compete for his fans to show them hes back. Much respect for him, but hes not close to where he was in size and who knows if he will ever be able to get that size back.

Some updates on the winners:

My Classic Physique prediction was spot on with Breon taking first.

Classic Physique:
1. Breon Ansley

My Womens Physique prediction was also correct with Grant winning.

Womens Physique:
1. Shanique Grant

Figure I didnt follow and had no clue.

Womens Figure:
1. Candice Lewis Carter

In Womens Fitness I had Bethany Wagner winning but she placed 3rd.

Womens Fitness:
1. Whitney Jones

I had Jose Raymond and Guy Cisternino in 1st and 2nd for the 212 and I was way off with this one. I was curious how Kamal would place because hes been on a salary to win shows and not accept a pro card, this was his pro debut and he killed it. I was expecting him in top 5 but not winning the show. But we have never seen him compete with any of these guys so it was a suprising win. His speach at the end was very emotional because getting his pro card was a challenge for him when he actually wanted it.

212
1. Kamal Elgargni

Thats it for today. I will update tomorrow with the next winners. But if your interested to watch the Bodybuilders try to watch from 7pm-10pm on Generation Iron tomorrow night.

Back off topic. :D

Being a professional bodybuilder, he's obviously on quite a bit more gear than the average recreational bodybuilder.

With that said, i would have thought that, he too, would be a every 56 day blood donor, like many of us.

This doesn't seem to be the case. Otherwise, he would have been rejected for low hemoglobin. If it was anywhere near 4, like it was when he hit the ER, i would think the donation center would have alerted him to a potentially serious problem?

i dunno. The whole story just got me thinking.

Btw. Haven't seen Pulumbo in a few years. Man, that dude is all head! :D

Okay, okay. Back on topic in 3... 2... 1...

Dave Palumbo makes videos for RXMuscle daily. Follow RXMuscle on youtube. Dave does a question and answer video every wednesday and he went into the science behind giving blood and he personally doesnt find a big benefit in it. He says in his years going hard with gear he never donated.

I personally dont know the science behind it but I do believe a lot of what Dave says. Daves good friend is Chris Aceto who is Rhodens coach and maybe he was told he doesnt need to donate blood. Who knows?
