PRIMO CYCLE LOG!

He's not entirely wrong about the heavy weights and future issues. At 42 I have to pick my spots now when I go heavy as pretty much every joint in my body is jacked up from years of heavy lifting. Especially on gear, you can make good gains by using lower weight but incorporating different types intensity e.g. drop sets, negatives, giant sets etc. Of course if you are just training for strength this won't be optimal but for muscle gains this can be a good change from a standard "heavy lifting" program.
you have any break downs for these type workouts,We are gettin a little beatup in our older years with heavy workouts, Drop sets do seem to work pretty well with a good warm up starter set.
Mama, gains are lookin awesome,do you have your hypertrophy routine workout breakdown listed here?

Thanks! I'm using Layne Norton's PHAT program. I switch a few things up every couple of weeks to get some variation. I also do hip thrusts and lunges on leg days.

Don't knock the hip thrusts @Eman! Those explode my squat and DL every time I do them.
I've worked up to sets with 350 for 8 in the past and the carryover of strength into my lifts was obvious.
Not to mention the hip /glute/ham development...

Na, not knocking. Big Z does hip thrusts! He has a machine at his gym specifically for them.

Well that's good to know!! Even more excited about them now [emoji1316]

Gonna get wife on these hip thusts. Everyone of the women doing them have crazy legs and glutes. Must be something to it.

What point of your var cycle did you notice hair loss

Honestly, I didn't notice the hair loss until my cycle was over. When I pulled my hair back I realized I had bare spots around my temples. It's JUST grown back to a decent length. Hoping it doesn't fall out again [emoji51] Adding Var in 2 weeks!

Wife had it coming out at root on sides above temples. She still has crazy thick hair imho. Women are funny with any hair loss though. It's like they ARE their hair. With the gains she was making she would been fine with a cherry downstairs and James earl jones voice and forge cycle forward. But oh hell no let the first few hairs fall out and that's a wrap on this one. Lol

Squat at 180 & DL at 205 as of tonight! Both PRs [emoji1316]

Last summer I was throwing that much on for squats, but my form sucked and I didn't even reach 90.. therefore, I don't count it. Now Mama gets low [emoji41][emoji4]

Thats good. Keep yourself honest. Make better gains that way. These folks that claim higher numbers than their capable of but at the expense of actual depth and form are only screwing themselves and inflating their own ego.
Congrats on that PR!
