Thanks for checking in guys.
@rpbb, yeah I was thinking I would start back at .5 this morning but decided to give it a few more days.
My elbow isn't getting any better. Sometimes it feels ok and other times it's pretty painful. It rarely hurts unless I am turning a door knob, picking something up, or stretching my arm out straight. Picking up something as light as my pillow is a problem. I haven't trained upper body since last Monday. I'm so frustrated. I do not think this is related to the gh. I know the numbness and swelling in my hands were related to gh but I'm certain that the elbow is an injury, most likely a result of over training.
@Hawkins, I know what you mean about the hand position when doing squats. I've hurt my wrists like that before. This issue with my elbow started after back and biceps. I'm sure is was caused by poor form due to fatigue when doing dumbbell curls at the end of my session. I was spent by the end of that session that is when I first noticed the pain. It wasn't so bad that I couldn't train though. What did me in was shoulders and tris the next day. Lateral raise drop sets starting at 20 lb and boom...done. I knew it was something bad. I had hopes that this was something caused by the numbness in my hands and possibly a pinched nerve in my hand causing pain in my elbow. Dropping the gh was hopefully going to fix it. Clearly it has not and I most certainly was in denial. Didn't want to accept the truth. I fucked something up.
I spoke to someone today that recommended a sports massage. I may try that but I think what I'm going to have to do is lay off training upper body until it heals.
Shifting all focus to my legs. I'm trying to come up with a training plan that will allow me to train lower body every other day. Any suggestions?
