Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Yeah shit is gross during spring break, my girl talked me into going once and i spent about a half hour there and i said hey im gonna go ahead and leave so i would really like it if you would come with me but im not going to try and force you hsha.

She made the right decision and we had a grand time without getting shanked or stepping on a syringe or anything lmao
I made it a week :p but I was single, young, dumb and Id paid for the hotel in advance :( big culture shock from where I'm fromo_O
Couldn't get over mutha fuckers in Walmart with no shirts or shoes:eek:
 
Superb workout boys!

1.squat 1x1 365lb 3x3 315lb
2. Front squat 3x3 205lb
3.banded deads 4x3 225lb
4.RDL 3x8 225lb
5.single leg ext. 4x12 70lb
6.cardio made it through 2 roundsof hiit and just couldn't push through i was freaking beat and starving haha.

So 365 squat, ginormous pr for me, crazy seein 3 plates n a quarter on the bar and definitely psyched out even though i knew there was no reason why i wouldnt be able to lol. Felt sick to my stomache but i got it!
The rep was a little sketchy but i hit depthand the weight went up so ima call it good haha.

Still a little pain in my arm, i don't think its from squats though cuz i definitely tweaked it doing clean n jerk and i think the squats are just aggrivating it because im not giving it enoughtime to heal so my deload week is going to be extra deloady so that can get better and im thinking i might drop the olympic lift day for the remainder of this cut and use it as light accessory mobility day because they aren't a main lift and i feel like they are gonna hurt me more than help especially once im working full time again i think im really going to appreciatethe extra light day.
 
Went in early today so i can have as much recovery time before the big pull tomorrow.

Actually had a decent bench day.

1.flat bench 225xamrap got 3 rpe 10. 135xamrap got 21.
2.incline DB press 3x8 70lb
3.cable low to high 4x12 50lb
4.tri push down 4x12 130lb
5.straight bar curl 3x8 70lb
6.hammer curl 3x8 35lb
7.cardio 20 minute incline walk.

Well shit...it was nice to end the last bench day on a high note. 3 at 225 is probably right about where i was before so atleast im maintaining and that gives me hope lol.

Tried some different footing today with a wider base and it felt pretty good so gonna try that from now and hopefully today wasn't just a fluke lol

3.bor 5x5 185lb
4.pullupxamrap got 1/2 of a pullup lol
5.pullups with band 4xamrap 6 6 6 5
6. 4 rounds HIIT for cardio

Oh boy you guys im just super duper excited that moved really really easy. Thanks to all you guys for all then advice and support,yall that hang out in my log are like family for real for real!

Next stop is 5 hundo!

It is addicting, that's how I feel every time I lift a new PR. I want more!!
 
Well gang was just bullshittin with perrin and decided i want to do a meet.

Never planned on it cuz this just started as a getting in shape thing snd just happen to prefer the powerlifting training style but I've really come to love this shit. Made a lot of positive changes in my life the last couple years and having something to focus on has been a huge partof that so now i think it's something i wanna really do.

Probably going to be early next year cuz i want to get a little more training under my belt so i dont go in and look like a total asshole haha but it's definitely happenin fo sho fo sho.

So plan was to get down to 220 and just go balls to the wall snd get huge and strong but now im thinkin once i get down there i will hover in and around that area and just train my balls off and get as strong as i can to compete in the 220's.

So im pretty excited for that.

This sounds exactly like me, I wanna do a meet next year also but I wanted to drop my weight down to 220. Then work on strength and form for the rest of this year so I didn't look like an asshat at the meet lol good luck bro!!!!!
