Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

Embarassing tonight.

1.squat 6x1 315lb 3x3 275lb
2.bench 3x5 185lb 1xamrap 185 got 6
3.deadlift supposed to be 405x5 3x3 365lb i got 315x5 3x3 275lb
4.btn press 3x8 95lb 1x20 65lb burnout
5.shrugs 4x12 225lb 1x20 135lb

Where to begin lol....all the squat singles were about 9rpe.

Deadlifts were....a fucking joke lol. And not a very funny one.

Figured i would go for 365x5 and 3x3 325 or something, but i knew during my warmups when i pulled 225 and it felt heavy that it wasn't gonna happen, so figured id go 345x5 3x3 315 and i pulled 345 and knew i wasn't getting 5 so i stooped lower than low haha.


Very tired, could tell during my mobility work that i had not fully recovered from sunday workout, legs were still sore while i was rolling out, I'm pushing as hard as i can mentally guys, but this damn meat suit of mine just aint cooperating.

Weight was 237.4 so just about 1.5lb down from last week.

Just tryna stay positive, im tired, iriitable, and i feel like shit, but i look terrific hahaha im basically bodybuilder :p

I feel ya on the tired part. I had to push thru this mornings workout. Overhead press was great but everything else sucked lol. How's your sleep?
 
I feel you brother @insaiyan93. I've had to switch training schedule this week. My training schedule is:
Monday
Tuesday
Wednesday off
Thursday
Friday off
Saturday

This week I've had to switch it to Monday through Thursday.

Only positive thing is I'm in a volume block right now. But I'm beat. And my legs are sore from not being to do any lower body for almost two weeks.

I'll post up last night's workout and today's workout later.

Dude, work is actually amazing. Not an easy job by any means, but very rewarding.

I like the people i work with, and I seem to have taken a shine to working with glass, everyone has said that my skill level is beyond what they would normally expect from someone who has only been there a month.

It's more responsibility than I've ever had before by far, got a fleet of 5 big box trucks to and a couple pickups to maintain and get ready and loaded with materials for the installers to take to jobsites.
a full warehouse to keep up with new shipments of glass units that we dont do in the shop like full windows, doors, skylights etc coming in constantly to get checked in and put away,
Plus all the shopwork that we are able to do on site, cutting glass, mirror,laminate, and plexi etc, rescreening screen doors and windows, and all sorts of other stuff.

Fuck man i have been taking in so much new information and trying to save it all in my head it's pretty tough, not to mention i have had probably not as much hands on training and direction as i should be getting so it has been alot of just kind of winging it and doin the best i can but so far im hanging in there. Hahaha

Sorry,didnt mean to go off on a ramble there but im pretty stoked about it haha

Doing much better. I have been getting Cryotherapy all week and Normatec Compression boots. The boots call all the up to my groin and get blood blood flowing into the legs. Great recovery tool.

Only issue I have after not squatting for almost two weeks. My groove is a bit off. I'll get it back by next week.

Strength is a little down on squats as well. But by end of next week muscle memory should kick in.

This is like the first real adult job i have ever had, it's weird instead of having like$50 bucks left over after i pay a set of bills, having like literal hundreds of dollars left over. Finally gonna get some stuff I've been needing for my little truck, and some stuff i have been wanting for me (new playstation here i come) haha
 
Sleep is....less than optimal haha.

I try to get 8 hours, but usually it's nore like 6, last night it was 5. Just tryin to make due with what i can haha.
Get what you can. I can tell the difference between 6 and 8 hours of sleep. I need at least 8 and usually get it. Last 2 nights I haven't bc I had shit to do after work.
