Progress/training log part 2:getting beary serious

That 135 amrap was just...disgusting. i could have done more than 35 strength wise, but i was literally starting to black out, wanna talk about fuxking with your cns...i was still all shaky and shit 30 minutes later, never again @RodgerThat lmao

Gonna program it in daily for you now :p. But ya no those suck a lot, that's a good amount you cranked out though and you're gonna feel good coming back to the iron in a couple days
 
Half n half workout tonight haha.

1.squats 5x5 255lb
2.deadlift 5x5 365lb
3.squats 1xamrap 135lb got 35
4.lat pulldown 4x10 120lb
5.OHP 5x5 did a pyramid up n down 95 115 135 115 115

The squat 5x5 was supposed to be 285 but something was off tonight and i hit rpe 10 at 3 reps so dropped weight, was expecting to have to do the same for deadlifts but they actually moved surprisingly well never got above rpe 8

Well I didn't do an AMRAP in particular today. But I did squats 405 6x3 315 1x20, 315 2x15.

By the time I got to the second of 15. I got under the unracked it and puked all over the platform. Cleaned the shit up and finished my workout. Goal 315 3x20.

Sipping on some Pedialyte now.

Bro I've done some wild stupid shit in that power room late at night. And when I finished I looked up and saw that camera peering down at me and just thought.... I hope they don't actually watch this shit.
 
You just wait until I start giving you deadlift true amraps like that :eek:. I did a 405x14 to a 225x27 and didn't stand up for like 20 mins after and when I did stand I didn't trust my legs one bit

I'll take the deadlift amraps any day, squat amraps are sketchy to me just cuz if you fuck up that weight is coming down on ya, with a deadlift it's just fallin on the floor haha

Lackluster performance tonight lol

1.squat 3x1 315lb 3x3 275lb
2.bench 5x5 175lb
3.deadlift 5x5 3 at 345 2 at 315
4.shrugs 4x12 225lb 1x20 135lb

Feelin pretty meh, weight was 234 so only about a lb nd some change down so you know what that means lol cutting cals a bit more, i think im around like 2300 a day on average.

Not gonna lie, it's pretty love/hate right now. Not even anywhere close to giving up, but i'd be a lying sack of shit if i said this wasn't getting difficult.

Just gonna keep pushin through, just 14lbs to go...14lbs to go...14lbs to go....lmfao

Gonna do what i can these last 2 weeks of the training block, then we are switching to a 4 day aplit with a bit more volume but lower intensity so that should probably make things little more bearable, because even dumbing the numbers down a bit it is still a struggle to get through some of these workouts, even while getting as many of my calories in around my workouts as possible, I'm just big tired hungry cranky baby lol.


Also, fun question....i feel like one of my vertabrae is "bruised" does that make sense? Doesn't necessarily hurt but it feels tender, n not just like the muscle around it but it feels like the actual bone...so...that's sort of got me worried, it's actually been going on for a couple weeks and hasn't gotten worse but hasn't gotten any better so...idk any insight on that would be swell.

I googled bone bruise and it seems like you can bruise a bone. Doesn't sound good either man. Might wanna have it checked out.

I've had a few bone bruises. They can suck something fierce. Not much in the way of treatments. It's similar to a broken bone pain without the break if I remember correctly. I had them back in my Pop Warner days.

Just in n out tonight nothin special,getting close to actually being able to do 1 full pullup lol tried before i jumped on the bands n got kind of close so thats cool. Anyways...time to eat

Pullups are hard, just get strong enough to pull the bar down, as long as it goes under your chin its a rep.
