It's widespread. It took 49 days for customs to exchange my pack for one of their fancy letters. I let ppl service know and they said they wouldn't reship my pack until the other shipping carriers started back. Sounded like a higher confiscation risk to go ahead with the reship so I guess I'm content with waiting.
Sucks doesn't it.
Customs is a real pain in the ass these days and I'd love to know exactly what happened, if staff was increased, if they were told to be extreme with inspecting. 2019 was a beautiful year, everything just flew right into the country, 3 days in customs and it was on its way. Now when you see your pack has been sent to customs you know it's gonna sit there until someone opens it.
This is why I wish PPL would buy their own cargo plane and air drop a huge pack out in the ocean and let someone pick it up by boat. A big purple plane with a panda on it, the PPL Express made to look like a gigantic syringe.
