Rob's log part 2 (gonna take a crack at PLing)

Way to grind brotha keep it up man I'm seriously impressed with the numbers and that you haven't even missed one rep as I still will miss reps from now taking a long enough break or a bad breath every now and then.

I just make sure I take my time man. Like doc says. It's not mean to make you fail but it's not meant to be easy either. 6 set of 3 on squats today was tough as was the 7 set of 3 on bench. That 305 got real heavy on set 6 and 7.
But if I need a 10 min break I take it. It's hard because 10 mins is a long ass break but it's working for me

Good shit. The end of wk 4 and the beginning of the volume block is when it gets to be a whole new level of hurt lol. Brace yourself and keep that momentum going strong.
Trust me I've looked ahead. It's gonna get tough quick once I move to block 30. I've found focusing on the current set is the only way to attack these workouts. I don't look forward or back just focus on that set. It helps mentally a lot.

I looked tv things differently but if it's not broke, don't fix it lol.

Holidays are great and all but I'm ready to get back into routine and get shit done. It's funny to hear how everyone says they eat so much during this time of year and I'm the exact opposite. I find myself eating double while on routine. Anyways back at it tomorrow. Only 3 more workouts left in block 29

Same for me. I'll eat less at times like this because I'm not counting calories and I stop when I'm full rather than hitting certain numbers.

Sheiko week 4 day 1

Another completed workout. Longest workout to date but I got it done. Only 2 more to go and block 29 is complete. Can't say thank you all enough for the support I've gotten. Definitely know my endurance is going up for sure. Strength has to be going up as well. I won't be testing any maxes any time soon but I know it's there. Weight is still in the same range.

Looking good, Rob. You'll have no problem hitting 1500 and beyond.

What's the protocol with Sheiko if you do miss a rep?

Sorry brother I just now saw the question you asked. I'm honestly not sure. I've always had in my head if I missed a rep I would just take a break and redo the set as failure is not an option for me. Hasn't happened yet so I'm not sure. @Docd187123 what would your answer be for a missed rep. Do you move on or redo the set??

No problem, I know all too well what this time of year is like for having a ton to do. I was just curious as I know very little about Sheiko. I thought you put in numbers at the start and it was based on those numbers for awhile, so I wasn't sure how that worked if you missed. I'd assume a couple do overs with maybe a deload first before an all out reset, but I could be way off.

I bet those front squats were brutal at the end of that workout, too.

That's exactly how it works as far as the program. You set your 3 maxes and it populates the entire program. I don't believe you ever exceed your maxes I'm blocks 29-32. I could be mistaken but I don't think you do. I'm actually curious as to what Doc has to say. I'm sure he will be more than happy to let us know.

As far as the front squats go it's not so bad as you get a decent break with the bench fly dip sets before your back at it

Yeah, I'd assume you wouldn't be hitting a max until the end. The more I train the more I believe this type of programming is the way to go, lots of volume at submaximal weights. Gets you strong with less risk of injury.
