Yeah but why can't you just do them from adjustable safety bars? There's nothing special about doing them from actual boxes, it's just about the height you're pulling from. I feel like I'm missing something.

There is a difference between rack pulls and pulling off blocks.

i also use the stepper aerobic thingys for block pulls. ive also thought about building small platforms and putting rubber matting on top and just leaving them at the gym. a couple 2x4s and some plywood is all you would need.

Session looks like it went well @ROB581211. form feeling alot better on deads now that youre doing them regularly and also doing variations?

Honestly it's been hit or miss. Everything felt great last night. I've just been trying so many things I don't have a good grove yet on them.

i know the feeling. its how i was with squats. keep the simple ques in your head, perfect those and then add stuff. as soon as i focused on the couple ques i really needed to work on my squats started climbing and feeling better. dont over complicate this shit homie, its powerlifting.

Tonight was quick and easy. Apparently I've caught another head cold but I'm not stopping. I'll just have to push through this one. Back is getting a little wider

I prefer that grip for pull downs, too. You ever do chin/pull ups? I like hitting weighted chin ups and then finishing off with the neutral grip pull downs for high reps. I feel like lats almost can't be hit enough.
I don't do those very often. I know I should but I don't. Maybe I will start including them more
 
Well tonight fucking sucked. I got to my first set of 385 and something didn't feel right. I know the feeling oh to well so I just hung it up for squats for the night. One day isn't worth blowing my back out again. I went ahead and finished everything else. Pisses me off tonight finish. This is the first night I've missed a single rep.

Same kind of thing happened to me last night. I did two sets of five and got two reps into my third set and called it. As much as it sucks you're bound to have these days. The reality is most days will be unremarkable with some great ones and bad ones sprinkled in. Just gotta have the patience to stay on the volume grind, get through the bad days and take advantage of the great ones.
 
Missing a few reps today in order to not miss every rep for the next 6 months sounds like a smart move to me man. Keep your head high only the smartest of lifters know how to hold back and that puts you in that spot

I just don't like failure. Everything has calmed down already. I've just hurt my back enough times to know if I do one more rep I'm not getting back up. It's just the stubbornness in me thats pissed I just didn't keep going. Looking forward to Saturday to killing it. Washing my hands of today and moving on
 
All is right in my world again. Took Thursday Friday off. Everything went great today. I even made up what I missed on Wednesday. I don't believe in failure so I had to do something to make up the reps. Here is today's

365 felt like
Feather weight on bench. Couldn't believe how easy it went. Didn't have a lift or a spotter and still got a solid 1-2 second pause on all 3 reps. Back felt solid today. I took my time and made sure form was spot on. Glad I stopped when I did on Wednesday. Sometimes you gotta put pride away and live to fight another day
 
I'm here to learn from you lol I'm still new to this and brand spanking new to PL. It definitely has me starting to rethink my plans of what I want to do.
Well I have about zero knowledge on it as well. I'm not to bad at actually doing it as long as I have something to work off of. I just move the shit it tells me too.
 
I'm actually really looking forward to hearing what you think. That way I can use your past experiences and your feelings on Sheiko to figure out WTF I'm gonna do next

We should finish around the same time. The four day plan is only ten weeks. We can bounce some ideas around when the time comes for sure.
