This is your first meet right? I thought one cool thing about this log is that your off cycle and on PCT right now. It's cool seeing your natural progress now and I'm kinda hoping this leads into an untested meet next in a few months when you hop back on with a nice classic PL cycle. If you end up hopping back on early for this one though I'll still be following!

See that's the flip side I know I'm not going to win geared or not so I'm thinking maybe just go in off cycle as I'm still making good progress. Honestly my knowledge has absolutely exploded the past 6 months and my ability to apply it is great and I think I can get 1250-1300 without another cycle before March as I currently stand at 1235 total at 183lbs.

I don't really like the idea of cutting recovery short at my age too and the long esters will only just start to kick in if I did it that early so it's probably gonna be a "natural" comp for me as in I'll be off cycle. @Eman glad you can enjoy my PCT time at least someone is :p

Planning geared or raw this meet? If this is your first one you should keep it simple and go raw till you got a few meets under your belt. Don't get in over your head or you'll hear Docd's commanding voice in your head driving you batty lmao.

I plan to always compete raw I don't really have any interest in geared totals. The only thing I use workout gear (being specific :p) is for overload training, I wouldn't put my bench with slingshot or squat with knee wraps as my real total as I don't ever plan to compete with those kinds of things on. Plus squat suits cost lots of monies and I think my singlet shows off my assets to well to hide it :p:D lol

Home from the holidays and back to lifting up heavy things. My gym was closed so I had to go to a rec centre and it was a production but I got in my work.

Deadlift 445 3x3
Pause deadlift 385 3x3
Rack pulls 495 3x3
Stiff leg deadlift 225 2x6
Good mornings 185 2x6
Bent over rows 135 3x6
Back extensions 2x16
Shrugs 315 4x10

Took about hour and 20 mins all weights moved incredibly easy and I was very happy until I got home and stepped on the scale and found out I've gained 6 pounds since 2 weeks ago and none of that is good weight so I currently stand at 191 12% BF. I will start a cut tomorrow until I'm back down to around the 180 range then train like that for a couple months and I will have to dip to 175 for work possibly (this may not be a thing anymore due to unfortunate circumstances but the plus side is I might be able to get as large as I want lol)

Also got my 6ds mouth piece and used it for the first time today and other then it makes me salivate because your mouth is slightly open when biting it I got nothing out of it. This is the first piece of gear I am truly disappointed with for performances sake. The only thing it will be used for is maxes so I don't crack my fake teeth, waste of 70 bucks unless you have fake teeth like me to protect do not buy one ever.
 
Sorry to hear about the possible unfortunate circumstances and the disappointing mouthpiece. Whatever happens you'll pull through though. On the bright side this possible dreamer bulk will do great things for your total.

Thanks man, ya the weight made 445 fly up as if I was still pulling 315 it made me want to try a 1rm but I know I should stayve off until the middle of feb to test out my 1rm. The dream bulk would leave me at 205 and 10%bf so I could look swole like @ROB581211 :D.

Ya as for the mouthpiece I was sceptical of its performance enhancement from the get go but I needed something so I don't clench and break my porcelain teeth so I bite the bullet and got it as per Brian Shaws outstanding view on them. Must be a 2000 pound club kinda tool cause Brian wouldn't lie to me because he's sponsored by them would he:eek::(

I never in my dreams thought I would break the 200 maker. Within 3-4 months of hanging out on meso and the help of a few guys I blew past it no problem.

I'll be going into a 900 cal deficit starting tomorrow and will be doing morning fasted cardio until I get back down to 180 at hopefully 9%bf so I can eat in a 200 cal surplus while I go into my peaking program for my meet in March.

5'8 191 @12%bf as of today
S/b/d 425/315/495 but I believe I can best all those right now but those are what I've hit.
My past 2 weeks I haven't been recording but for maintenance I run
P220g C320g F100g for 3020cal total
P30% C40% F30% is what that works out too, I find the high fat helps my joints with all this heavy lifting.
My cut diet is
P180g F 160g C30netG 2280cal total

Cardio when maintaining weight is a 10minute warm up walk at 3.5mph before I workout and then my daily life of mountain biking and skiing.

Cardio for cutting is morning fasted treadmill 3.7mph for 30 mins at 140bpm I'll incline the treadmill till I hit my BPM mark usually a 4-6% incline depending on the day. I do that Tuesday Thursday and Sunday and on MWFS I do HIIT for 20 mins after my workout.

Ideal size for me right now is 175@%bf for work possibly. I ultimately want to be 205@9%bf sometime in the next 4 years and for sure within a few months I need to hold under 183 and the leaner the better as it'll give me the most amount of power possible for my competition.

Supplements I take are:
Multivitamin in the am
Krill oil am and pm
ZMA in the pm
Caffeine 200mg am
Glutamine post workout with my whey shake
BCAAs during workout as I find them tasty

I was just curious. I'm a very hard gainer. I have to seriously eat to maintain my current 200-205 weight. On Sheiko days I'm every bit of 4500 cals. Protein is a min of 350-400. Then carbs and fat tend to play with just so I can basically eat what I want. On non PLing days I've stuck too 3500-4000. I haven't touch cardio in well over a month. Now keep in mind a month ago I was between 204-208 at maintenance and I have actually dropped to 200-205.

Have you tried higher cal diets? The only reason I asked was because I always "clean" bulking and cutting after only like a 5-10 gain in weight. I never made any substantial progress. Maybe 15lbs over the course of a few years. Early spring through summer of 2015 I took in about 5000-6000 cals a day and jumped from 190 to 215 in the matter of a 4-6 month span. BF only got up to 14-16 max. I've just found if you have a goal of a certain weight it's quicker to just bulk to a good 10-15 lbs over your goal and clean up to get your BF right and goal weight.

Now your body type could be completely different and that may not work as well as it did for me. Just an idea to consider.

Ya I did 4500-5000 when I bulked natty from 140ish to 180 then my first cycle 5000 cals until I ended the cycle at 198.

I'm more for strength then size right now so I can hit my weight classes needed but when I do go for the size I'm hoping to do 4500 cals but if I go about 14%bf I may dial it back and gain slower. So if I want to be 205 at 9% you think I should aim to bulk to 220 sorta thing and clean up when I hit that mark (faurk I'd be huge at 220 I could only imagine waking in through doors sideways kinda thing :p)
 

I know man it feels like the end of the world and an impending doom to my numbers but I'll keep the intensity high and try out some pre workouts and see if I can't continue to progress. My Saturday workouts I'll eat a maintanence calorie that day so I've got the energy to recover from that workout for sure.

900 cal deficit would be muscle loss for me but that's just how I seem to be... But I understand your reasoning for getting a little more drastic about it.

Not to schill it up but if you're looking for a new preworkout take a look at chaos and pain supps if you wanna try something new. I havent actually tried Ferox but I've had the non stim version called Permaswole. I blend my own version of it now but it's very good. I used some other stimulants they had which were very good also.

SHILLL!!!!!!' Lol jk bud I'll take a look I'm not a big preworkout guy but I recently tried JYM and it's pretty exciilerating felt like I was on steroids or something;).

So I'm currently doing my glucose depletion workout. Fasted HIIT 20 minutes then 20 minutes on the stairclimber 80 steps a minute now on the treadmill for a 3.7mph walk for another 45 minutes then go for a swim for 20 mins. Gonna see if I can make my body go into keto within 3 days this time. My mommy got me a keto blood tester for xmas :oops::):p

Btw I hate myself for doing this workout too lol
 
So yesterday was interesting i ended up only eating 720 calories and burnt upwards of 4k cals due to work, so i was feeling very fatigued this morning when i was doing my fasted cardio but got through it 45mins at 3.7mph and 7.5% incline on the treadmill, heart rate was hovering around 125 and i couldnt get it higher but also didnt want to have to change it into a jog.

today I managed to work off of 2300 calories even with the severe deficit yesterday and hit all my workout numbers

Squat 310 5x5
OHP 135 5x5
DL 135x5 225x5 315x5 425x5
shrugs 315 4x10
wide grip pull ups 3x8 BW
45 minute stretch

I have only had 11g of net carbs in 2 days and plan on crushing another fasted morning cardio tomorrow to boost myself into ketosis, ill be able to tell from my meter if im actually in keto and if i did it in 3 days that would be unreal because i cramp up like crazy when im working on the glucose depletion stage of keto.

in other news i purchased a Basis Peak today for a wrist heartrate moniter and calorie tracker to get even more accurate with my counting.

This is my final week of PCT as well and im feeling pretty damn good and happy my clomid dose is down to 25mg ed now as clomid makes my head fuzzy.
