Sheiko strikes again

I've hit 365 a long time ago, maybe a year?. I was recently pushing 360 and it was smooth and had decent bar speed. I'm probably somewhere close to 375? The past training cycle was all about lower body development so I don't think it could have gone up that much but it has gone up.

Thanks for the vote of confidence on the attitude. I broke down hard when it happened. All the training and everything that comes with the life man, we put so much into this shit and It just vanished. I was laying on my back with my leg up on my couch because that's the only thing I could do to relieve the pain at the moment and I realized that it was over. My first comp wasn't going to happen for me. I started to tear up and I don't give a fuck what anyone thinks but I was crying over it.:( I was laying on my back with tears running down my cheeks and my pit came up and started licking my face lol, helped a bunch at the time. Attitude is everything most of the time and you aren't getting very far in life with a shitty one. Not everyone learns this unfortunately.

Record keeping and videos have changed how I lift. I can't recommend it enough to people. Fuck, who am I kidding. It's the switch to power lifting that made me more focused and changed my habits to Include those things.

And yeah, the singlet is definitely going to be worn around the house and yard. Lol, maybe wear it to the comp just as a goof even. It's so patriotic! Even my DL socks are.
That's a sweet singlet. I want a unicorn singlet for my first comp. Jk. Singlet doing yard work. Neighbors are going to have some funny looks on their faces. Lol

Thought you would still go with that Pantera singlet, Icky. What made you go with the unicorn?

Ouch so you fractured your upper leg then but no tear?

I have a bald eagle singlet. I have a partial tear of my right adductor and an asis avulsion fracture on my right hip. The fracture is older from March 5th, not the same day as the adductor.

All in all I'm fine, should be working legs heavy in no time, maybe a few months

Oh you sure then got lucky. That bald eagle singlet sounds badass brass and hope you be able to compete even in a bench only or a push pull meet.

Not trying to slack in the gym but I haven't gone once this week. I didn't want to bitch about it publicly but I've been sick with a stomach bug. Today is the first day this week I've been able to eat much of anything. I had a half a banana and two slices of toast for breakfast. But on the plus side it stayed down lol. I'm down to 240# and look it. Feeling a bit better today but I'm still having a hard time keeping liquid in me, pepto isn't even that much of a help. I'm hoping that I can muster the effort to go today after work. Trying to hydrate in these conditions sucks balls. Tomorrow is cinco de mayo so I have to be better by then!

So yeah, jumped on the scale this morning. Down almost 20# :( when I say I've been sick I mean it. The twisting lower intestine feeling that I've had this past week isn't as bad as it has been but I still feel like shit. When it rains it pours...

Everything was heavy but that was to be expected. Good to be back. I could feel the groin pain a little and it was even into my lower abs by the end of the workout. Slow and steady is going to win this one apparently.

Definitely slow and steady. Don't wanna hurt yourself again. Good luck with the rehab
