Thats good training!
Yes, she even left with the baby to her moms so I can take a nap. That means she will bring back a home cooked meal for me too. Today was a good day.
What do you think of the cube method Docd187123.Im on the fence with texas method and the cube method.
And you didnt even have to use your AK...
The Cube Method is a pretty good program. Not the best IMO but a good one nonetheless.
My main critiques with the Cube Method would be:
1) the average intensities used is pretty low and you work with 90%+ I think once in 9 or 10wks. Strength can be built with lower intensities and higher volume to make up for it but trainin with heavy loads teaches you many things. It's better to watch form breakdowns for one thing but also it more effectively targets the neural system.
2) each powerlift is done once a week. This is not optimal IMO. Technical mastery comes from repition and the best way to get that is to bench and squat or do variants multiple times a week and deads as often as you can. My squat form is better than any other lift bc I used to squat 3-4x a week EVERY WEEK for years.
I do know a few guys who ran it and loved it. I even printed out the ebook and read it through but it's not something I would run for myself. I need to be able to squat more often than that.
You know I did sense that the cube creator does take after programing from Jim W.I allways thought programing such as 5/3/1 is best for me to keep for my down times basically in life.Work, hectic scheuldules=stress.
The texas method might be better for me at the moment as I will be blasting about 3 months coming up.Tm looks like it can become aggressive if you actually hit new pr's each intensity day carrying over to volume day each week when adjusted accordingly.Squat and bench I have to do at least two or three times a week for my goals right now. Thanks for the feedback.

Just found out my wife bought me a pair of Adidas Powerlift Trainers from ebay for $25. I had my heart stuck on the romaleos but its better than the nike 2.0s Ive been lifting in. Anybody know about these shoes?

Got my lifting shoes today, theyre an older model than the adidas 2.0 but they feel nice regardless. Nice solid sole.
