The road to 1500..

I'd also like to add that logic would tell you that you'd be spent and exhausted by the time for your third deadlift came around, but I felt stronger than I'd ever felt. It was 6-7pm at least by then. It's like all the months of training had lead up to that moment, this was the do or die moment. I was just in the zone and failure wasn't even an option, wasn't even that nervous. Great feeling. I was next to last to pull as it's lightest to heaviest. The announcer said six hundred pounds is no small feat and the crowd was going pretty nuts. Good times for real.

That's exactly why I said from what I've been told, the deadlift is the lift at a meet where that extra energy boost comes natural. It's the FINAL lift of the day and will often times make or break your total. It's also the most barbaric of the lifts. Haha. Which for me plays a part in it.

I don't think there is anyway to calculate fatigue at all. There are far too many variables to keep track of it. Maybe after years and years of meets you'd have a good idea of it.

lol, yeah that's some math that would be on the level with quantum physics or something. All you can do is get an idea in your head and make the best decision with the info at hand after your second attempt. Maybe count on a little of that barbaric energy to add a few pounds.

3-2
Bench 310 8RPE till 9RPE
3 or 4 sets 5 reps (forgot how many sets, was helping someone out in between sets)

Concentric Squat 315 9RPE
1set 3 reps

10% drop 285
2 sets 3 reps

Floor Press 290 9RPE
1 set 7 reps

REP DROP
2 sets 5 reps

Hip is still a touch sore, but after some mobility work i was able to get into position virtually pain free. that is also the most weight ive ever done with concentric squats. Bench felt on point as fuck last night.

@Perrin Aybara
meet is next month. after this week i will be setting my openers (heavy triples) and second attempts in consecutive weeks, followed my openers again for 2 sets then 65% monday of meet week and deload. essentially im tapering down right now starting this week. going from lifting 4 days a week to 3 days from here on out. getting really stoked!

I'm excited for you, looks like things are playing out perfectly. I also have a feeling you'll have to come up with a new log name after next month, too.

3-12

Squats 380 6RPE till 9RPE
9 sets 2 reps

Bulgarian Split Squats 185 8RPE till 9RPE
3sets 7reps

Stoked for this coming week and setting openers. Squats feel great. So glad I switched to chucks from romaleos. I can definitely sit back more on my heels and widen my stance without any problems.

3-14

Squats 455 9RPE
1 set 3 reps

that will be my opener. knowing @ROB581211 was gonna be testing maxes gave me a little extra fire. which was a PR even if it was a single. really glad how well squats are going. next week will be making my second attempts, which will be 495. ill be stoked to break that 5 plate barrier.

You got that all day long if you hit 455x 3. What are you thinking that last numbers gonna be? I'll be happy with 525 but 545 sounds real nice

my goal for meet day is to go at least 8 for 9. so that all depends on how i feel on meet day for the final numbers. i started some other supplements this week which should help me peak very nicely come meet day. overall id like 535/405/640. on bench day this week ill be shooting for 355-360 for a triple and on deads ill be getting 585 for a triple. which should put me right about where i want to be. if i hit those, 2nd attempts will be 495 Squat, 375-380 bench, 625 deads which would about secure the 1500 i want.
