Titan Labs

Zeus I am in and out of here this week did you already disclose who is receiving samples. I thought we were done with the free sample stuff. The problem I have and most others is that how do you do this anonymously. If you know where the samples are going....I am not going to insult your intelligence you know what I am saying.

BTW ...pics not so hard was it. I wish some others could see that. This is just you saying you are serious about being here.

It has not been decided who the samples will be sent to. It has been decided that everything is best kept in the open and they will not be sent anonymously. I have left it up to the board to collectively decide who the samples will be sent to.

That said, we always encourage testing of anonymous orders when we don't know if they will be tested or not.

Well you have gone about 90% further then all the new sources that have popped up lately, I hope you pan out, we need another good source here, The pics were a big boost but now the testing begins.

Titan please correct me if I'm wrong but the hood you posted appears to be a fume hood of sorts.

I was of the impression that a lamniar flow hood directed filtered air across the work space to prevent outside contamination from airborne particles by keeping them out

Your hood appears to draw air into it to prevent fumes and the like from escaping into a lab which seems to me to be the opposite of what we'd want

I did a quick google search for your hood and came up with this

http://www.labconco.com/product/purifier-logic-class-ii-type-a2-biosafety-cabinets-2/4261

this is different but appears very similar to your hood

This whole thing looks similar to something I had back in college chem lab

Alright guys I was able to deliver a little early. I left the pictures as intact as I possibly could. The second was taken by my partner after I had taken the picture of the autoclave.

There is writing on some of the equipment, as well as the cabinents above and below that could idenitfy us which is the reason for the editing, as well as serial numbers.

As some will recognize, the second picture is of a class II biological safety cabinet. Most people do not know what that is so I used the term laminar flow hood as it is more common. This equipment, however, is much better.

I will be around to continue answering any other questions members may have since this part of the CoC has now been addressed.

If concerns have been answered and addressed by tomorrow we will post our contact information and ordering instructions as well as begin sending out samples.

Enjoy!

Bravo. See, that was fairly painless, wasn't it? Now sell legit gear and don't fuck anyone over.

I'm not sure if this pic works but you can see it drawing in the outside air which seems bad to me

This is taken from Labconos website.

It ooks like you took a picture in your college chem lab

I'm not an expert by any means, nor do I have the time here to say this offically.

But I call scam

That or you don't know the difference which between a clean bench and a fume hood

EDIT: too fast on the post button

I'll await a rebuttal before calling scam, but great work nonetheless man!

It's a legit bio hood. The labs down the hill doing research work with cholera and salmonella were using hoods like this. Kept shit in the hood in, kept shit out of the hood out. Room air is pulled into the vents across the bottom front of the hood. Look at your diagram. See the red arrows, those indicate room air. I had a fume hood for running reactions. It only pulled air in from the room and exhausted out the top, no front vents or air "shower" system internally.

But you now make me realize the hood and autoclave are featured in every mol bio lab on the planet. Hmmmm.

I believe it is legit also. Biologic Safety Cabinets(BSC) are actually better than Laminar Flow Hoods (LFH). It protects both the ambient air and the air within. I like where your head is at but this seems to be what we are looking for. This is just my opinion also so we could all end up with infections ;)
