I am extremely happy I got a vasectomy done. No kids, never want kids, never wanted kids ever even a little bit. Don't want to bring children into this world/society (I am and always have been a strong misanthrope). Honestly vasectomy is one of the best things I ever did. My girl and I are super happy with it. Kids to me are just relationship ruiners. IMO we are going to be so much happier in the long term without the stress of children to hold us back and drive each other crazy.
I was very grateful to the coworkers/guys I have asked just out of pure curiosity if they are glad they had kids or not... basically the average answer was "it's alright, but if I never had kids I don't think I would really miss it." To me, most of the people/couples I know who didn't have kids are quite happy, have strong relationships, and are set to be financially independent "early" due to the lack of financial and mental burden of children. One of my coworkers I was joking around with about how much I love having dogs and don't want kids and I said "Oh but kids are just so magical!!!" and his response was "Psh, yeah like 0.5% of the time." (He has 3 kids, mostly because his wife really wanted to have a lot of kids...he said he just wants to travel LOL.)
So anyway, think about things before you have kids, and also before you have a vasectomy. A lot of women will be really unhappy at the idea of not being able to have kids. They along with most of society have been brainwashed that we all must have children in order to be happy--really that's just the church ingrained into society to have big families and the government wanting more babies to grow up and become taxpayers and contribute to the GDP. It's all a bullshit facade. Global overpopulation is a real issue, one that I will be glad not to contribute to. Yes the US isn't the lead cause of it. China and India are the big ones, but even if they were erased from the Earth we would still have way too many people for this planet to support. What is the world gonna be like in 20, 30, 40 years? You have a kid now then your kid is gonna be a young adult in 2050. Do you think the world is going to be a nice place then? Do you think climate change is going to cause food and water shortages that are gonna make life suck for everyone? Do you think that the commoditization of education and lack of entry and automation of level jobs is gonna have this kid living with you until their 30 because they can't get off their feet? There is so much more to consider about the future than just "I want a babyyy". I always cringe when I hear a friend say "Yeah my girl has been talking about wanting a baby."
So anyway, my rant is done now...you can rest.
I couldn't be happier that I got a vasectomy. The lack of having to worry about potential pregnancy is just wonderful. Not forcing my girl to go on fucking hormones that fuck with their heads makes me feel better. I don't want kids, I'm gonna take it into my own hands and my own responsibility, not put it on her.
