What do you think about the Scion TC ..

My Girlfriend has a Scion IQ

God I hate that car.
I can't get out of that shit and the inside is horribly small and I'm not a huge man I'm just about 6'1.
It does great on gas though.

I have a mini cooper I use to get around town. At first I was like this is a chicks car or hipsters but I dont care now. Its a pretty quick lil car and handles extremely well. Gas is great and its like wearing a fitted tshirt. I look much bigger when I drive it compared to my truck. Lol

I love Ford trucks , wouldn't own anything else. Currently I'm driving an 09 F150 5.4 . Before that I had a 03 F250 6.4 V10 4x4 I was pulling a bobcat everywhere so I needed it what a gas hog that thing was a beast. I'll tell you what though I had a 90 F150 4x4 stick shift with the granny gear it had the 300 straight 6 that fucking engine was bulletproof you could run that thing out of oil and it would get you home it didn't give a fuck and man could she pull. It wasn't fast but it was like a tractor lock it in 4low and that son of a bitch Will pull an oak tree out of the ground.

6.8L V10:)

I am gonna go against the grain here but I have only had two cars in my short life and I will always love my Acura Legend(my first) more than my current Chevy Silverado. I don't know what it is, I mean the Chevy front seat is comfortable as shit especially with my back problems but there were just so many things about my beat up little legnd that it will always be the car that never let me down.

There were times when I was broke and totally out of gas but my Acura just kept going energizer bunny style, whereas last I got even near empty my truck just turned off and peaced right on out. Acura>Chevy these are almost identical o what I've hadimage.jpg

Acura has taken a dump the past couple years. From my observations anyway it seems mostly electrical components so nothing major like the competitive luxury brand from Nissan in the infinity with the 3.5 and 2.5 engines and the alternator issues and such. I don't know what the new generation honda's offer. But its no secret how the older generation honda brand climbed to the top of the food chain in reliability.

My first car ever was a honda accord 94. I ran that thing into the ground up to 200k before my first problem. Nothing simpler then a radiator exchange. Sold it got myself into the sn95 mustang. Lets just say not as reliable. I miss my honda.

I own many rides. Not because im a high roller. But I pay it off and keep it. Instead of trading it in. Some I buy cash used because it would make a nice project
I have

08 f150 4x4 5.4 slightly modified. 33" tires, Detroit locker, level kit (bilstein)
04 f150 4x4 4.6 6" lift 35" tires, detroit locker and a host of other accessories

I get about 13 & 11 mpg respectfully

I got a powerstroke that gets close to 20 mpg if I tune it down a notch

I have off-road toys too that I have no idea what mpg they get. They never see pavement
I had a put Detroit locker in my first Mustang back in the day when installing 4.10's. They're strong but not DD friendly whatsoever, it would constantly chirp the tires when re-locking after turning a corner. Shit was bannas.

The detroit Is an auto locker which means its engages when torque is applied. Its the old warthog of lockers. Been around forever and extremely durable, low maintenance.
You have to change your driving style. Cruise in to corners and accelerate when the wheels are straight. Youll never hear the ratcheting sound ever again.
Another reason the detroit is so damn good is there are no electronic lines or vacuum hoses to connect to make it work. Hence an auto locker. Put one in your truck and you'll never go back. It gives a level of confidence in your rig thats unparalleled. Versus an open differential or posi lock, no comparison
