What dose it take to be a competive bodybuilder these days.

Much respect shredded.

Thanks again bro, its really nice having such quality people like yourself follow this thread, i'll do my best to keep it free of BS and if I have the energy levels i'll take you through my comp prep as we head into the Arnolds.

One thing I should mention in case I disappear for a while is, during my last comp prep we were battling to keep my little dog alive as he has terminal liver cancer which has know spread to his lounges.

It was why I was so quite for some time as I was still coming to terms with it. I didn't mention it before as I didn't want it to influence you guys opinion on my comp placing or lack there of. There are so many genuine people following this thread I know you would have been super kind.

I find the best policy is sometimes let people know what's going on in your life so that way if you do something strange or out of the ordinary they understand, without this info it can look like you just are a bit weird. We don't have kids so they are very special to us.

Anyway enough of that dribble im off to the garage to get a cup of concrete and harden up lol.

Lol! Yes i would say the Tren over in the underground, is working quite well for those frequenting that area! ;)

Yes its a little different to the boards we have here in Aus, don't get me wrong it can get heated at times but I feel the level of tolerance is a little higher.
@Jimmyhoffa59
I am in complete agreement with you! Impressive! And @shredded... good on you man! Welcome to MESO!
;)

Thanks bro it was great to be able to share those pictures with you guys here on meso.

@ Shredded im curious do pro get the same gear that we do. And in the same way? Or do they get a special gear? Im just curious as far as quality.
Thank you PI

I never had children either.. not even sure i should have with all the AAS use, and the risks involved to the fetus. Therefore i have always had animals... cats & dogs! They are like my children, so i know exactly how you feel. Much success & happiness to you in
the future. ;)

Mostly its the same as you guys but like everything as you progress up the ladder you tend to meet people who are sympatric to your cause and it becomes a little less complicated if you know what I mean.

With regards to quality pharma is always the number one choice and you would be surprised just how much difference there is between pharma and home brew.

I believe its why we see such crazy doses being used these days as a lot of the gear available is just so weak because the raws are shit.

Thank you very much for you kind words.

Yeah my thoughts exactly gear is just not the quality it use to be.

Shredded, I could read your posts for days man. I'm starting my first season in the NPC as a novice body builder. I'm gonna get my ass spanked, but we all gotta start somewhere. Thank you for sharing your wisdom and giving us rookies some inspiration.

Your very welcome my friend and I wish you all the best on your competition debut, if I can give you 3 tips they would be, condition, condition and condition.

For guys like us that are not monsters its vitally important that we come in shredded even if you think it makes you look small, a well condition athlete will many times beat those bigger than himself if they are smooth.

Thanks for the advice and I agree with you on the shredded part. Went to the Grand Prix here and another show the month before and both shows the most dry ripped BB won, not the biggest. I'll be reading your posts and asking lotsa questions. Thankfully we are still over 10 months out.

Yes @pipelinerk 99% of the time its the most conditioned athletes that win, ask as many questions as you like and if you can be patient I will do my best to answer them all. I have my own contest prep starting this Monday so as the carbs decrease it will get harder to find the time and energy to keep the thread updated but I will get there in the end. 10 months is not long when you consider 3 of those months will be spent dieting which leaves you 7, if your bulking that's only two 3 month bulking cycles before we start to diet so keep that in mind, now is also a good time to think about music choice, keep a ear out for songs you think maybe suit your style of posing.

I know it....my coach said he won't put me on stage if I'm not ready, so it's possible I may not compete in this season. We shall see.

I really like the robot poses and music. King Kamali's stuff was always so cool.

Shredded, will you share your contest prep stuff with us? Or at least some ideologies in how you go about that period for yourself?

Sorry for the late reply we had a bad Christmas, as you maybe aware my dog has been sick for a little while and on Christmas day he started vomiting, we cancelled Christmas to make him more comfortable but buy boxing day its was time to lay him to rest.

We put him to sleep 2.33pm on boxing day, its taken sometime for me to come to terms with it hence my absence from the forum. Im doing my best to get back to some normality and in a few days will answer your question, thank you for your patience and understanding, stay tuned.
