What needle length for my delts?

As you can see 1/2" side delt is the consensus.

I prefer 27g, luer lock.

Essentially painless, no concerns over thickness of the oil with a thin wall needle (flows like 25g).

Thousands of pins into alternating delts, no scarring, never once a lump.

As someone noted, a century of experience led to this being the default IM spot for doctors injecting 1ml or less.

VG is terrific and I do it constantly, pinning something VG every day. Benefit is even if you get scar tissue who really gives a shit, nobody is paying attention to that area.
Not sure if I can actually find it and what needle length I would need for that?

These are the needles I use when pinning glutes.

Not sure if I can use these or would they be too long?20250112_153017.webp

Just a matter of how much patience you have.
Definitely. If I have three or four syringes to fill it just took way too long. If I was only drawing 0.2cc that would be different. I can't feel a difference between 29 and 27ga but I do feel less likely to bend a 27ga while injecting which is nice. And drawing from a vial feels like it's 3-4x faster than a 29ga

I use 29g .5 in and have never used anything longer despite pinning every location possible, I’m a pretty lean guy though so individual experience may vary.

I personally would consider that an absolute harpoon for the VG and wouldn’t use it personally.

It is a harpoon lol

I pin like 2.5ml in each glute and the oil I use is very high concentration and thick asf, so take forever to draw up and takes a while to pin lol

In a way I find the stiffness of 27g to make it less painful than 29g for some reason. It's not as if there's a huge difference. but the faster flow also means I've never had to warm up oils since going to 27g.

Luer lock means you can draw via a spike. Not only does this flow like a firehose, but not dulling the needle by piercing the stopper with it makes a difference you can really feel.

Also reducing the amount of rubber coring material you're injecting. Less risk of microemboli developing, a near certainty if you use the same needle to draw and inject.IMG_9542.webp

I draw with these needles normally from UK medi20250112_155425.webp

Typically a vial spike costs less than separate draw needles, and again, each time you pierce you create more stopper particles, the vast majority of which are invisible to the naked eye.View attachment 311811

Absolutele legend.

I'll be ordering some now.

I've never used anything like this before, so sorry if this sounds stupid.

Do you still puncture the top with a drawing needle or just pop in/screw in the syringe and don't need a drawing needle when using this because it already punctures the vial?

Also can this only be used on a 10ml vial or can I also use it for any vial like my hgh and ghk-cu?
