It would be crazy if you could control that - turn it on during some excellent sex activity to really savor the moment in a crazy high definition recording, then go back to grainy standard definition for basic activities. A lot of life could be stored as black and white actually.

It works if u want it to(following distance). I do it everyday for over a million miles. The only times i ever chipped a windshield was from following too close.

Rig or my truck doesnt matter. Dont follow close if you value your paint or windshield. If i look back and see a shadow behind my trl i know the asshole is right on my ass. As long as the sun creates that shadow i can see him. Otherwise hes completely invisible(stupid). I got ways of getting em off my ass. See that there shoulder? Im gonna put all 18 wheels on it. Gravel, tire shrapnel, wood, fucking angle iron. Its all going in your paint with all the velocity of 80,000 lbs moving at 70mph can generate. Thatll get him off my ass.

first off texting and driving is retarded. I've even seen an iPad out while driving. Wish it was legal to shoot out someone's tire when that's going on.

Vehicles are nothing more than a bubble that empowers people to act aggressive and take chances. I get enraged when someone tries to jamb their vehicle into the space between myself and the car in front or behind me. Bumper to bumper at 80mph, Fuck no. When I'm in my 8.1 nobody pulls that shit, the mini transit gets put in that position again and again.

Nobody drives 300' behind trucks - well, there's you.

In my rig its all about safety. We work in the most dangerous profession numero uno year in year out. Being a police officer is less dangerous than what we do. Mostly safe driving is just common fuckin sense. I wish they mandated training to 4 wheelers. It would help them see the big picture. Help them understand everything outside of themselves. The road would be a much better place i promise you. In a fully loaded rig i try to maintain my own space. At least 7 seconds from anybody in front of me which is the easiest to control. I dont like traveling in packs. People beside me or tail gating me. I can control all those situations to some degree.

The problem ppl are competitive out on the road. Dont want no one in front of em. Are tailgating to prevent lawful passing and putting themselves in needless danger all due to SELFISHNESS. Aggressive drivers are just another name for terrible drivers. I see ppl do stupid shit all day long and guess what theyll be sitting at that light waiting for me too. No time is made that way. You have to spread a drive over 10 hrs to make any meaningful time up by driving carelessly. In the average day to day its literally seconds off your time. Seconds man. Breathe, think of pussy do whatever but i promise starring at that cement trucks bumper isnt gonna make your commute any faster and ONLY INCREASES the chances of a wreck or damage.

I agree. Driving is the most dangerous thing we all do and its done everyday. Mostly unhitched but problems can come out of now where and texting and distracted driving is beyond stupid.

If you ever went to a gun range and carelessly started popping off rounds with a blindfold on or pointing your gun at ppl youd be arrested. Driving while texting is the same thing.

Did you know a CMV driver is fined $1200 for a distracted driving citation? The company is then also fined $12,000. I want some thing similar for 4 wheelers in place.

LE has a difficult time making those tickets stick. By in large enforcement is useless.
Dems are all in favor of forced govt intervention so i figure i may agree with that mindset in this case
