I think a vast majority of politicians /lawmakers go into the position with great intentions of changing things. the starting pay of the position I’m sure is a great salary, but after a few years of people waving 100’s$ of thousands of dollars in your face to pass something or help here or their many do it and take the money. Why? Because we humans are selfish and want to take of ourself and our kids/ wife / family first.. not strangers.

So money does talk and always will because at the end of the day you gotta take care of you.

i agree. They likely go into it thinking they're going to be the guy that all the voters asked for.

Over time, like any other job, they pretty much say fuck it, who cares? But at the same time they're affecting millions of people with their greed and decisions that can be bought.

Personally, i think they should have a (potential) maximum of 8 years, like the president does. After that, GTFO and bring in another fresh faced, young go getter that's going to do the job right. At least in the beginning, anyway.

Hottest day of the year in my area yesterday...I work outside. Thought I had my fluid intake on point but underestimated the amount I was sweating. Dizziness followed by racing heart/palpitations, trouble breathing and BOOM i was in the ER.(Severe dehydration). Lost a day of work today...slept a solid 9 tho

That shit fuckin sucks....on a sidenote tho: my nurse was so fuckin sexy....mid 20s, blonde, tight little ass...she really helped me get through my situation.
