What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

OK, I am posting what my food day looks like as I was invited to do so by Oregongearhead

I am 50 yrs, 5’8” 220 lbs, 27% bf, was 245lbs, 35% bf

Want to get to or close to 15% bf over the next year

I have had high blood pressure, diabeties, and high cholesterol, which are all under control now without meds due to diet and exercise, so some of the foods +supps in my diet reflect this from experimentation and seeing what worked for my body.

Generally speaking the food I eat is

No added regular sugar

Low carbs

High protein

Medium Good fats

Intermittant Fasting 8am – 9am to 4pm – 5pm cycle (ish)

Learned to cook and use spices etc, so the same bland crap I eat can be made differently and tastes good.

Cheat meals once in a while to keep the natives (family) from getting restless.

My typical food day is:

8-9am

Oatmeal / Plain Greek Yogurt / berries

Morning supps right after breakfast

Workout Multivitamin EVL Vitamode
B12 1000mcg
A Good Probiotic
Omega-3 600mg EPA + DHA
CO-Q10 200mg
Vitamin E Gamma E Complex
Pantathine 900mg
Lycopene 40mg
NAC 600mg

10:30am

Whey Protien shake 25g

5g d-ribose

5g creatine

2g l-carnatine

11;00am -12:00pm

5g d-ribose

5g l-citrulline

3g beta-alanine

2g taurine

Go to Gym for 1h workout

After Gym return

Whey protein shake 25g

Couple handfuls of nuts

4:00pm – 5:00pm

Spinach or Greens with at least 3 veggiies in it/cottage cheese salad with 2 pieces of protein, usually beef, fish or chicken

Evening supps right after meal

Workout Multivitamin EVL Vitamode
Omega-3 600mg EPA + DHA
Cholestoff (Plant sterols/stanols)
Tumeric 1200mg
Beta Sitosterol (Prostate)
Glucosamine Chondroitin

Slo Niacin 750mg

Sometimes between 7:00pm -8:00pm, a small snack while family eats so I am “there”

ZMA at bedtime

Any suggestions or tweaks would be greatly appreciated, thanks

Whatever your goals are @Kevin.archer you can realize them here with these guys in this thread . All sizes --all ages (Im 56) come here . Bodybuilder or powerlifter or just to look good/feel good . Welcome ~Ogh

Happy to see this thread reach the 1000th page OGH...you've become a real legend and respect for that. Never seen threads as popular as this one on any board.

Cut starts Tuesday, I'm gutted to report...
But it's national burger week here in the UK... And somewhere local is doing one of the biggest burgers in the country... So I'm going out with a bang! I'll try to get some good pictures...

Honestly tho... Think ive ate the most disgusting food ever since ive started my cut and i mean the ingredients you mix sometimes just to make something proteinish with low fat and carbs... Either turning out dry, salty, tasteless, metallic or slimey ugh... And you still had to gobble it down so you dont lose your intake
