Thanks brotha, yall always cook some damn good lookin food so im just tryna keep up haha.

I've been putting more effort into my meals lately, instead of just eating chicken and eggwhites for every meal, and I've really been enjoying myself.

I have a lot of fun cooking... It's important to keep changing things up so you look forward to those meals.

I'm going to break out my cast iron skillet and try out some chicken thigh recipes here soon...

Always had a fondness for cooking myself, mom got me started when i was probably like 8 or so.

I was just getting used to being on an actual structured diet not just "eating well" but actually counting calories and what not so i was just doing easy stuff for a while, but now I've kind of got it down and finding it easier to make meals that fit into my diet that are also delicious to eat.

Im getting good at this stuff haha.

I agree.. I tend to eat "easier" when dieting. It's easier to be a little more plain than figure some macros out.

I got one of those as well...need to bust it out and clean the rust off it lol. My pan is like 30 years old and one heavy bastard that has yet still got life left. I made casseroles and stews in it that come out decent.

Shit man just heat treat it scrape the rust and get some oil on it and its good to go.

A good rule of thumb my mom taught me is just always give it a light coating of some sort of cooking oil after you wash it and that will keep the rust off.

Will steel wool the rust off, wash it good then rub some olive oil in it to season. Haven't used it in a while and just found it after a while as I had moved.

Yeah, real fine steel wool to get the rust off.
Then wash it and dry it.
Put a thin coat of cooking oil over the whole pan and out it upside down in the oven with a drip pan or some foil on the rack beneath it to catch drips.
Keep it in there for about an hour on 350° and it should be good to go.

Then just oil after each use to maintain.

Thanks...will do this so I can make more good stuff in it, especially as I am now eating more and training harder.

I thought this was funny....i was loading all my groceries uo early to make them compact as possible to take the bus home and this reminded me of in the movies when there is a sale or something and one guy will go "do you got the stuff?" And the other guy will be like "yeah" and throws them a duffle bag with the drugs or whatever in it and they open it and start checking it out and the dude will go "go ahead and count it, it's all there"

Hahah perhaps im just silly but it tickled me thinking of like a back alley eggwhite trade off lol

It's been a while motherfucka's. I can't neglect this thread because this is the best thread here. Always positive and it's a lot better than EQ.... makes me hungry while I eat.. I eat meals on top of meals because I read this thread.

Last meal of the night followed by a protein shake probably. 3/4 cups of instant grits, whole milk and ham :)

With bake in the bag chicken thighs and broccoli.

Dropping in with the meal of the day![emoji39]

Guys, I would highly recommend checking these products out. Now, I know most of you don't eat Paleo, nor do I. However, these are tasty, easy and seem to be very high quality... Available only at Wally World, believe it or not. I've tried the pork and the beef, I haven't tried the chicken yet!
