What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Looking for some advice and perspective from ya'll.

I have always added olive oil to my smoothies for my fats, but I also have coconut oil on hand; I use the CO for many things but never my smoothies. Take a look at the labels and tell me which one would be best to add 1tbsp to the shake/smoothie!

They're both ok, so its your call. You should consider how each one will taste combined with the other ingredients of the smoothie and base your choice on that.

Other oils you might find interesting are avocado oil (first cold pressed), macadamia nut oil (expensive!) and ghee (clarified butter) for sautéing vegetables. Do not user ANY oil that has been hydrogenated.

Truethfully, there isn't really any taste to either. I was more interested in which type of fat they contain as they're different. I melt 1tbsp of coconut oil before mixing it with my shakes.

Now that I think of it, the olive oil has a slight oily texture in the smoothie and the coconut didn't.

Coconut oil is also AWESOME for sexy time in the bedroom ;)
