Offseason I use them:
1. To keep my family happy and go eat what they eat
2. Last meal either the day before or the night after my weakest body part
Offseason cheats for me are more like one meal binges. As long as my protein is covered i just eat until I can’t for one meal.
In prep:
Really only when ahead of schedule and a few extra cals can help a lagging body part or shake things up when fat loss plateaus.
During prep they’re more “refeeds” of quality foods just with bigger portions.
I always prefer cheats as the last meal. It doesn’t fuck with the rest of your day.
