What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Offseason I use them:
1. To keep my family happy and go eat what they eat
2. Last meal either the day before or the night after my weakest body part

Offseason cheats for me are more like one meal binges. As long as my protein is covered i just eat until I can’t for one meal.

In prep:
Really only when ahead of schedule and a few extra cals can help a lagging body part or shake things up when fat loss plateaus.

During prep they’re more “refeeds” of quality foods just with bigger portions.

I always prefer cheats as the last meal. It doesn’t fuck with the rest of your day.

I appreciate the insight. I plan on doing a more strict mock prep this year. My wife was talking about me getting on stage so I want to see what I’m capable of.

Sure thing. It’s called LoseIt. Free. Let’s you scan food for accurate macros. Giant database of existing foods and supps. It’s weight loss oriented so the fucking thing always says I’m fat but it’s great. I only track when I want to make a change. Otherwise I’m 100% on the same diet excluding cheats.

Was checking that out, then i remembered i have a hacked version of MyFitnessPal on my other phone that i never installed. So thanks for inadvertently reminding me.

Looks promising. Has all the bells and whistles of the full version. i think i'm going to like it. Guessing if i've hit the mark for daily nutrients isn't getting me anywhere.
 
Is there a benefit of Lose It over Myfitnesspal? Or are they basically the same? Sometimes I get a bit frustrated with the clunkiness of myfitnesspal.

MFP has a lot of fluff that doesn't really apply to me, but for the time being, it does what i need it to do.

Give them both a try. See which one suits your needs. If you want the full (hacked) apk of MFP, let me know, i'll post the link here for you or anyone else interested.

My wife got an instant pot for Christmas..
This is blasphemy for me to cook ribs like this as I have always smoked slow and low.
They look proper, just not sure how they are going to taste, I mean I usually smoke them for about 6 hours, and these took 35 minutes....
