What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

I cook all my food for the week on Saturdays and Sundays. Lately I have really been into slow roasting my meats. I also make several types of homemade salsas that I like to reduce down durring the process. It works awesome for lean pork and chicken. It breaks up the monotony and makes for some seriously moist and tender meats.:D

Salsa's are great because they dont have alot of calories & carbs . I only eat chips every once in a great while , I spread the salsa on meat , fish , whatever . We also put lime salsa on game and slow cook it .....Go for it Undertow - :D
 
Went out to eat for the first time in forever...O'charleys! I use to love it back when I just ate whatever. I've been running a hard cut and ordered a chicken salad but then I remembered I haven't had more than 50 carbs in two weeks.
So I decided to treat myself to a brownie. Holy shit! It came with chocolate syrup, Carmel syrup and ice cream (just said Brownie on the menu)
I hate how much I liked it! But I haven't had anything like that is over a year and I'm down to 9-10% on this cut. So I don't hate myself too much

After a year of dieting I would have ordered a banana split ! 2 of em ! Lol . Good job !

I have been busy the last few days and havent kept up with my diet log here ......

Last night it was chicken stir-fry w/ brown rice for dinner.

This morning its 1 cup All-Bran cereal w/ milk & Syntha-6 protein . Big workout this morning .

Back to 165.5 lbs
 
That's one hell if a freedom day! Sounds delicious. I haven't had a calzone or pizza in a few years. One of these days...

Sorry you guys are making me feel bad for posting. That is the great thing about being a amateur team sports guy vs. a body builder I can f$@$ off sometimes. Especially this time of year all my BB friends are heading or have been in comp mode. The crew at the gym sometimes hate me and I think they try to talk me into competing just so I too can be on miserable diets.[:o)] Which I am only joking I just finished a 4-5 week keto run. It is I who will pay for that Calzone tonight.
 
Ah I'm just giving you a hard time Volt. Believe me when I fall off the wagon it's not a pretty sight. Every few months I get a care package from the city with all my deli shit. Within an hour of the eagle landing I've made it through a lb of corned beef, few knishes, and am in one corner on all fours guarding my 3 ft hard salami from my dogs. My APBT gets wood when he sees Soppressata...just like his daddy.

Weighed 252.5 this morning down from 276 my last cycle. I am going to go max bench today and see how the strength is. I have managed to maintain most of my size except my trunk which is what I want. Looking forward to the 240's but I ma not going to kill myself to get there. I think since I decided to run a little NPP for 4-6 weeks I might just go on low-cal diet. IDK any suggestions. I just finished a keto run. I would like to shed a few more lbs the next 4-6 weeks.

Im nursing a golfers elbow right now , nothing like injuries to sideline a guy , huh ? I still remember the bad rotator cuff days .....

Scrambled eggs & ham this morning plus lots of coffee ......:D

No surgery here OGH you might be thinking of Flenser ....I need surgery though going to put it off for as long as I can. I am just on a cut.
 
Great lunch - Ham & peanut butter sandwich on Daves Killer Bread , $5 a loaf but its worth it ! Packed full of nutrition .....:D

$5 bucks a loaf come on man....thats a hard sell OGH. I have been grazing on almonds and pistachios with some jerky a buddy of mine made all day.
