Yeah it's been pretty lame, really hard time for the kids. My daughter is scared and wants us to evacuate, but we don't really have anywhere to go. Playing it day by day, so if it gets closer we'll bounce. I stayed in there room until they fell asleep last night. Hopefully she is feeling better today

I'm borrowing my neighbors who is staying somewhere else for a remodel the last couple days. Just using for the fridge, and microwave. Sucks the gym is closed as well. Thanks for the well wishes.

How close is the fire now?
Do you have a hard wired smoke alarm system and a way to maybe plug your generator into it?

Would be nice fo you to get a carbon monoxide warning when shit starts to get a bit smoky

Yeah, we got hit good 2 years ago. Now this one a little north, but the winds have been crazy they are worried about it traveling south it's been pretty nuts. People get weird with stuff like this. I'll tell you our roads weren't meant for the amount of people that are on them when they evacuated everyone. There is literally only one highway heading north and south.

Good luck to you and your family bud. Hope everything turns out okay as I’m sure it will. I live in hurricane alley and have been hit very hard twice in the last 3 years so I know the feeling and know how crazy people get when evacuating.
