What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

My next blend is going to be casein and pumpkin seed protein. I've not tried pumpkin seed protein yet but I intend for this to be for late evening/night use. Pumpkin seed supposedly has a lot of tryptophan and then of course you get the long digestion of the casein. Curious to see if it will help with sleep/calm.
 
The wifey picked up some Hemp products , didnt realize how much protein & Omega oils the seed hearts had . Sprinkled some on my cottage cheese/pineapple concoction . Taste good ! :D

Again, thanks for turning my direction towards another great product. Here lately (last 6 months) I've been trying to incorporate more seeds and nuts into my diet. My current protein powder has hemp and pumpkin seeds. I also eat walnuts and pumpkin seeds throughout the day and I have a bag thats a mix of flax and chia that I sometimes add to protein shakes, salads, etc. I never really looked at the nutritional value of hemp until your post. It's amazing and I will be switching from my flax/chia mix to hemp now!

All those years I threw out the seeds from that seedy Mexican/Colombian weed (back in the day). It was all full of protein and good Omega oils !! :(
 
I went to IKEA yesterday and picked up some Kalles Kaviar, which is smoked roe mixed with mayo I believe they use. I also picked up a bunch of jars of pickled herring, the one I got is senaps sill, a pickled herring with a mustard and dill emulsification. I also got herrgårds ost!

Bear in mind I am single(and lonely) so sometimes my meals become mini smörgåsbords(sandwich table directly translated.)

Here is yesterday's meal of the day! - I am proud of this meal, i.e. complain and find faults in my dish.

Also, x3 protein shakes that I drank over the course of the night :P

Baked cod, boiled potatoes, sauce consists of rosemary, butter, heavy cream, sour cream, cream cheese and spicy brown mustard. Eggs with Kalles Kaviar, dill, tomatoes, red onion and Wasa whole wheat bread with herrgårds ost and also a beet salad.

Actually i did turn to hemp after i see your protein mixture an another thread .
I add my morning oatmeal a scoop of hemp hearts .

Here is some other info about the seeds. Hemp hearts do have the highest protein. However Chia and flax have other benefits as well, flax highest omega 3s. Use all 3 IMO! If anything the hemp ones are only good because they have protein, but us BB have tons of protein already in our diet? Correct me if I am wrong.

Where’s the iceberg though?!

You typically have a good meal posted, I just guess it’s strange to come from one end of the spectrum or nutritious food to finish off with 3 protein shakes the rest of the day lol

Protein shakes are extremely nutritious. If I were to choose one or the other, I would choose the protein shakes with milk over the meal.

Can you iterate why you think protein shakes are not nutritious?

I’m just referring to the variety of vitamins and minerals that you’d get from mixing different veggies, carbs, and meat sources. At first glance, it’d be easy to think you’d be lacking different micronutrients. There’s other ways to get these through supplements and vitamins and whatnot. I’m not there to see what else you may include to get these. It’s just my first thought when I see 1 meal and 3 shakes every day. Plus I’d be starving!!

Actually my phones camera is toast after a nice (and stupid) hard drop that screwed the lens up a few weeks back. Until I get a new one I really don't have a means. Still the best thread on meso regardless and we'll continue to make it so... you know me ;)
Buy a LifeProof case, then call in and say your case isn't waterproof. Get the new case in the mail and then go and return it with the receipt for your money back. Just kidding that wouldn't be ethical... However it would save you a phone and $80...

You've been here over 2 yrs with almost 450 posts and you never put up a Avatar ? I just find it kinda weird unless your hiding something or your someone from the past here ? o_O
