What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Im also building a fence to hide the outdoor gym from prying eyes . New asshole neighbors moved in last month with their 7 barkin-fukn chihuahuas . I get dog barking , they get heavy-metal (in more ways than one)....they still dont know who they are messing with ,lol. :mad: ~Ogh

All I read was hamburger cupcakes and I think I blacked out..
Grilled salmon spinach salad last night, threw the leftover salmon in my eggwhite omelet this am. Been dragging this week and took a 5hr energy shot, I'm not sure how I feel about these things. May get back on the coffee train unless someone can recommend a stim that won't give me shaky hands.

Kickin coffee is a hard one . one of my few vices left , kicked alcohol & nicotine but coffee seems so innocent (until you try & kick it !) Goodluck Tango.

They can keep the 5hr Energy , nasty tastin crap , not for me ,lol. ~Ogh
 
My wife makes these fuckin awesome hamburger cup cakes. Prepare the hamburger just like a meat loaf and into a cup cake pan, bake and top it with mashed potatoes. When its done right look just like cup cakes. Cmon what could be better than that!

this morning its 8oz cottage cheese & sm banana . COFFEE !! (sorry Tango...) lol ~Ogh
 
I haven't had a cup off coffee in a LONG time...but I'm thinking about picking back up! I had to kick it because although I didn't seem to wired it would make my hands shake with interfered with my day to day routine. I used to get these little glass vials that looked kinda like gear that was super concentrated ginseng liquid. Had like a tan label and some chinese writing on them but I haven't seen them in awhile. I don't do preworkouts, and try not to have caffeine but isn't there some over the counter stims that have more of an herbal ingredient profile? Some guys are on that Hydroxycut SX-7 and like it but it's way to expensive just too use it as a pick-me-up. I'm still trying to kick the can maybe I will go for the good ol' replacement technique and just start taking pinches of coffee grounds :eek:

I kicked this habit as well last year OGH. Very tough. When you make it part of your routine for 15 years it becomes a hard habit to quit. My stomach and mouth thank me now............
 
It's been well over a week for me trying to kick the caffeine habit. The headaches are mostly gone now, that's the worst part! I think I'm cured lol, until the next time
 
Here's what I did..
I went cold turkey and the headaches kicked in immediately. I would take two Excedrine, they are 65mg caffeine each. That got me over the mid day headaches.
Did that everyday for about a week. I also had some unsweet iced tea. There's not nearly as much caffeine in that.

All in all it a slow weening off process but I think today is about day 10 or so and I feel much better now. I still get a mild headache but it's much later in the day and I can ignore it

^^^^ Great response Furious !! And great tips too , I like the Excedrin thing , that sounds better than the gum . And yes you have to exclude anything with caffiene . Bye-Bye Red Bulls , Monsters ,tea, anything with caffiene . 10 days is what I hear too, actually they say it takes 2 weeks to pick-up a new habit or to drop a old habit . Good tips today !!~Ogh
 
I started out great!

Gym
Egg whites and chicken w hot sauce.

The wheels kinda fell off after that on a family day trip. Not so much bad food as lack of food.

Back in track for dinner.

So what's better eating bad food and hitting calories intake (didn't say macros) or lack of food and calories?

I would think it would depend on your goals. Are you trying to lean up or bulk up? If leaning up I would go with less and quality, If you are trying to gain I think I would go for hitting your cals. Thats how I would decide.
