Haha, nice. They are very tasty. High in protein and very lean. They taste very similar to whitetail. They are not in my area but I have killed a lot of blacktail deer and eat off those in the winter months. I have an archery hunt for blacktail coming up in November. Hoping to put some of that in the freezer this year as well.......I just went for a drive in the mountains near my new home and saw about a dozen mule deer. They look pretty tasty @Oregonstrong - you ever plug one off these things? Are they like whitetail?
