What R U Eating ? ~OGH wants to know.....

Wife asked me to make this. Completely forgot about this meal and it's so damn simple and delicious.

Beef Burrito Skillet
1 lb ground beef
1 cup of salsa
1 cup of water
Pack of taco seasoning
About 5 6" tortillas
Can of black beans

Cook ground beef---drain
Add back to skillet with water, salsa, beans, taco mix. Let it thicken up. Cut up tortillas in strips with a pizza cutter (works best). Top with cheese. Throw some sour cream on it. Bam.

Looks good brother - adding the recipe is always cool

4-6 eggs and 4-6 pieces of toast for breakfast, fill the rest of my calories and protein with pastas, and if needed a protein shake. I don't know why I do it, I just love pasta.

Im a pasta lover too , I trade rice & potatoes for noodles/pasta all the time .
Roughly the same amount of carbs per oz , absorption is slightly slower .

"Which has more carbs rice or noodles?
Basically they are both sources of carbohydrates. As a comparison, 100 grams of white rice contains 175 calories. The same amount of calories can be found in 50 grams of noodles (dry, uncooked). So for the same amount (eg: 100 grams) noodles will contribute higher calories.Sep 13, 2016"

@Rockclimber --Do you add olive oil or other oils for fats ? Do you carb-up for your matches ?
No oils, just cooked on a salt block in oven. This is my first BJJ comp so I'm just cutting for it. Weight class is 220-235. 235 and over is open class, fuck that, I don't want to fight a 350lb guy. Got to get from 258 down to 235 WITH a Gi on. Will definitely add a ton of carbs the few days before comp!

Edit: I was so hungry last night, I normally have dinner #2 before bed but I had no calories left so I ate almost a pound of raw carrots. :(

I know fish will have a little fat and chicken too but on that kind of diet reads like you might be hitting 10g's of fat a day which is really really low. Are you getting more elsewhere? Just curious as fats are extremely important for any athlete (or anyone) as you know.

I had tuna tartare and avocado for lunch today so 37g fat for the day. You all are correct though, I Probably need more good fats.

Thats alot of weight to drop, i remember making weight for wrestling, 10 lbs water weight was easy, those other 15 lbs are going to take some work. Stay strong, you can do it.
