Don't listen much, but did appreciate the peer reviewed, actual studies Derek at "more plates..." cites. I also laugh a bit when he struggles/ mis-pronounces unnecessarily technical terms.
Sound out the big words buddy. Or get an actual PhD.

Surprised at all the people plugging Layne Norton. Yes his nutritional perspectives are great, but he seems like a bit of a fraud. He's been lying for decades now that he's natural and he's obviously not. I wouldn't care if he mentioned it once or twice but he spams it every day on social media. I remember reading about him in the GH15 bible from over 10 years ago.

My opinions on some that have been mentioned here:

Broderick Chavez: not only legit, but the most knowledgeable of all, best source of education by far.

Mike Israetel: extremely knowledgeable in training and nutrition, and probably the best source of knowledge in training available, however and especially in the training department, tends to overcomplicate things. I think he does this to display superiority by impressing people, so that they buy his products (training templates, diet templates, RP app, etc) without ever making sense of them (for most people atleast) so they will keep having to depend on buying his content for progress.
If you have a lot of money and not a lot of patience for studying/ learning, it’s a good investment and you surely will get results, if you study his book andthe structure of a template and you’re smart, you can understand his methodology and replicate it by yourself, however as I stated above, there’s simpler methodologies that are just as effective.

Alex Kikel: very similar to Broderick Chavez in terms of ideology.

John Meadows: by far my favourite person in the shit industry that is fitness, the only one I ever wanted to meet.
Great content, mixing personal experience and science and his wholesome life.
Losing John was a tragedy, may he Rest In Peace.

These are the best ones, now onto the shit:

More plates more dates: At this point it has to be clear that this is an entertainment/ gossip channel rather than an educational one, and if you haven’t figured it out by now then you’re not very smart. The guy is an ignorant that just regurgitates the likes of Broderick Chavez, but without the intellect to comprehend what he’s talking about, he interprets studies and situations in the capacity that his brain allows him to, which is not a whole lot, and draws stupid, senseless conclusions that make sense only to himself, and the bunch of dumbasses that constitute his viewer base.

Greg Doucette: Pretty much the same as the idiot above, with the exception of having the most annoying voice that ever existed on the planet, and possible the whole universe, while also being a snitch.

Leo: It’s no surprise that anyone that associates with more plates more dates is equally a retard, this guy is another charlatan and ignorant, spreading misinformation.

Dave palumbo: A prime example of a relic of a bygone era, which has been frozen in time in terms of knowledge, what he has to offer is purely the same bro science that had existed through the 70s, 80s and 90s.
Just the fact that this guy recommends switching esters during cycle tells you all you need to know about his “knowledge”.

Gonna throw my thoughts on a few people I've watched listened to over the years.

Leo Longevity: seems to me he knows what he is talking about, yet I've seen people say he is a fraud or something. I've been watching him a lot lately.

Bostin Lloyd: Some love him, other hate him...funny, but can he be trusted?

Dave Palumbo: Seems to me he is always selling fiberlzye in every situation lol. Used to watch him a lot but got bored of his content. Also, has a shitty past selling fake gear/gh.

Vigorous Steve: Seen a bunch of his videos; He loves Primo and Test, and seems to know a ton of shit I don't even understand, getting very technical...associated with Leo and Derek from MPMD

Chase Irons: I paid for his YouTube subscription where he teaches people to homebrew and also shares his sources for 50 bux a month; does 2-hr streams and answers everyone's questions which I liked, but he has bland personality and treats everyone like a noob, so that is off-putting, yet he does literally answer everything.

Alex Kikel: seems like a nice guy, but very hyper lol.

Nick Trigili : I'm from NJ; used to be friends with him and even Phil Viz, back in the day; I went with him to vegas when he won his pro card. I stopped being party friends with him years ago; seems like he had more issues than I knew., but recently ran into his channel. It's somewhat entertaining, but a lot of gossip and shit. Him and Phil no longer friends, which I'm not surprised because I found all of these types were fake as fuck.

Broderick Chavez : Some say he is great, others a total retard

Fouad Abiad: I'm a big fan of his podcast, but then I hear he really isn't that person (according to Leo Longevity)

Dave Crosslands: big ass dude, seems to just read off all of script though.

Tony Huge: I get a 80s car salesman vibe on one hand, on the other, he comes off somewhat legit

Greg Doucette : I followed a lot of his dieting advice and currently doing that "maingaining" thing, which has been a 9-month recomp. Yet many people shit on that and think he has no clue what he is talking about.

Derek MPMD : Used to like his stuff but I unsubbed after he started making gay ass videos

Mike Israetel : Like his content, but can get too technical with all those fucking acronyms

Layne Norton: probably the best in regards to nutrition science

John Meadows. Love him, RIP.

Mark Bell: Like his podcast and his open-mindedness.

What are your thoughts....who do you trust or not trust?
Yeah Chase Irons is my favorite YouTuber. Doucette would be low on my list.

Dont trust any of them. Take what they say with a grain of salt. The reasoning is no matter how much you know and have to share, at some point you need to start pulling shit out of your ass to create content. Or you start just contradicting your videos from before. Except for Mike O Hearn. Nothing but pure gold there.

I mean, he's not a freaky person... I can see him using t3 and clen to get lean, but steroids? What was he apparently using?

The funny thing, they shit on Chavez and call him a fraud.

Industry is full of so many of these ego-maniacs pretending to be legitimate.

I was watching Chase for a bit, even subbed to his home brew thing, but he has this arrogance which I'm not a fan of. 50/50 I like him and hate him simultaneously lol.
No I get it it. I stopped watching him for a couple months, but he seems a little more normal at this point now that he is done with his contest prep. He even open up about the fact that he is convinced that Jordan Peters was using an assistant to train him and that the majority of online trainers are probably also using assistants to train their clients. I have yet to buy anything from him or subscribe to anything of his. I don’t really need it at this point.
