Why there almost certainly is No God!!

Agnostic athiest here. I don't know about the start of the universe but I'm quite sure that any organized religion is dead wrong.

IMO there are good religious people but no good religions. They all fall flat at the top. Control, power, and money is all its about.

Perhaps God had something to do with the "big bang".
:)
In a general undefined sense of the word 'God', possiby.

I would however say that picking any of the thousands of religions that have been in existance and chalking up the massive inaccuracies they have claimed about our history as some kind of miscommunication to be a bit irrational. On top of that, it seems like pretty piss poor management skills for an omnipotent being.

Why blame "religion" on the errors of mankind. Worse inaccuracies have been concocted to acquire land and women by men.

Religion is a belief system, men decide how to "enact it"!

I don't know about the "six day" thing but for "man" to believe they are to know everything is fool hearty and destines us to "failure", IMO

Michalski JR, Cuadros J, Niles PB, Parnell J, Deanne Rogers A, Wright SP. Groundwater activity on Mars and implications for a deep biosphere. Nature Geosci;advance online publication. http://www.nature.com/ngeo/journal/vaop/ncurrent/full/ngeo1706.html

By the time eukaryotic life or photosynthesis evolved on Earth, the martian surface had become extremely inhospitable, but the subsurface of Mars could potentially have contained a vast microbial biosphere. Crustal fluids may have welled up from the subsurface to alter and cement surface sediments, potentially preserving clues to subsurface habitability. Here we present a conceptual model of subsurface habitability of Mars and evaluate evidence for groundwater upwelling in deep basins. Many ancient, deep basins lack evidence for groundwater activity. However, McLaughlin Crater, one of the deepest craters on Mars, contains evidence for Mg–Fe-bearing clays and carbonates that probably formed in an alkaline, groundwater-fed lacustrine setting. This environment strongly contrasts with the acidic, water-limited environments implied by the presence of sulphate deposits that have previously been suggested to form owing to groundwater upwelling. Deposits formed as a result of groundwater upwelling on Mars, such as those in McLaughlin Crater, could preserve critical evidence of a deep biosphere on Mars. We suggest that groundwater upwelling on Mars may have occurred sporadically on local scales, rather than at regional or global scales.

Oh regarding the "biblical inconsistencies and/or contradictions", the bible was written by "men" so I would expect no less!

Ah, so you concur with the basic premise of Western religion in that man is flawed from the getgo and therefor must remain always seperate from the ultimate goodness ? . Its all black and white, eh?
:D

Oh and I believe It's obvious "man" is flawed! Heck just listen to the nightly news or read the local newspaper!
:)

Nothing is ALL black and white, yet I certainly wish "everything" would accommodate the meek thoughts of man!

It's simply unsettling for some socially elite scientists to admit they JUST DON'T KNOW! (God forbid they're "mankind's best").

No instead a theory is concocted, which is no better than the one they've contested throughout their career, IMO!

Shapiro MD, Kronenberg Z, Li C, et al. Genomic Diversity and Evolution of the Head Crest in the Rock Pigeon. Science. Genomic Diversity and Evolution of the Head Crest in the Rock Pigeon

The geographic origins of breeds and the genetic basis of variation within the widely distributed and phenotypically diverse domestic rock pigeon (Columba livia) remain largely unknown. We generated a rock pigeon reference genome and additional genome sequences representing domestic and feral populations. We found evidence for the origins of major breed groups in the Middle East and contributions from a racing breed to North American feral populations. We identified the gene EphB2 as a strong candidate for the derived head crest phenotype shared by numerous breeds, an important trait in mate selection in many avian species. We also found evidence that this trait evolved just once and spread throughout the species, and that the crest originates early in development by the localized molecular reversal of feather bud polarity.

Well, I guess thats why they developed a whole field to interpret the good book for us...

So what about the parts of the bible they just arbitrarily decided to shitcan too?!?

Personally, I find an interest in the part early on where God decided he fucked up and that man is evil and wiped the slate. Wonder how long ago that really happened. How many times. And when again..?

If man wasn't "created" until day 6 how do we know what happened on days 1-5??

Bible Inconsistencies: Bible Contradictions?

With the 6th day inconsistency supposedly God had an open communication with adam before eve took in the forbidden fruit. So it can be argued that God explained to adam what happened before he was creates

Nope! -- God gave it all to Moses when he (Moses) wrote the book of Genesis.
