.the movie post adds another level of absurdity in that jules thinks god came down and changed the trajectory of the bullets to save two murderous hitmen after reciting a passage from "his" divine word, which, in another scene he says he admittedly doesn't know and never gave much thought as to what it meant. he just though it "was some coolblooded shit to say to a mutherfucker before I popped a cap in his ass." great example.

I had a discussion a few days ago with someone who told me that many very smart people he knew were also religious. I thought about that for a minute, and after reflection I just couldn’t agree. I don’t think one can be really smart and religious at the same time.
