The reality most of these guys are affiliated as reps, sources, or in some way being reimbursed by a lab. Some of the most well known and respected members on this board are sources themselves behind the scenes or rep for certain labs. Whether it's under a different handle or whatever. I accepted free gear from Xeno pharma a longggg time ago when I first joined this board and I tried to hustle some free D-labs gear a while back when I relapsed. But I admit what I did and maybe I've lost credibility because of it. But if you guys knew what some of your super hero meso members really do behind the scenes, you'd realize they're not as high and mighty as they try to make themselves appear.

I really doubt it is that bad.
Meso just treats anyone that says positive things about a source as a shill.
I think we would be better off if we had an acceptable protocol for positive reviews, and that any freebies should be disclosed.
Ive gotten some freebies from pharmacist, nothing huge... some bonerpills or aromasin as a little surprise. Does that make me a shill for him when I say his service is good or that his ovitrelle is gtg?

Sometimes members are just trying to help members, no big conspiracy.

But you got a 2003 join date @Big_paul , cant fake that . That and post count is what I look for when Im trying to find the "alpha-dogs" in a forum .

I agree and I have been here but a little over a year. Now everyone is gonna see member and not even think twice about what is being said in cases of new guys viewing the info.

You're right. I was just trying to come up with a self policing system that allowed the members to dictate the status and not post counts and quotes. But I would have added to your rep for that post

We already had a problem with new members becoming WKM and use that status to befit themselves. This will only add to the problem.

Members deservedly like to be rewarded and recognized for their contributions. The status awards are an attempt to do that but reflect a flawed system. It would be great if MESO had an algorithm that could recognize quality contributions. But it doesn't. As such, the status titles are largely meaningless.

Obviously, the current status titles are being abused to manipulate sources. This is one harm. But their are others too such as newbies relying solely on status to determine expertise and quality of advice.

Given this, is NO status title system better than a flawed one?

And there's plenty of pussy out there for all of us!!!

I don't get it. With the last system we had we dismissed seniority. I was cool with that, but now we dismiss participation entirely. There are plenty of boards with few members. What admin doesn't seem to understand is that WE are his board and without US there is no board. Take a look at the Ironden if you don't know what I mean. Senior members should have been consulted first.

I'm Big_paul on this one! On one hand I don't care wether someone is a well known or not, but I've been here for 3 or 4 years now myself and I think it should be left up to the guys who have been around longer not the fucking admin! This place is starting to remind me of the way politics are played in this country! If you don't agree with someone's point of view it's ok we are all individuals.
