WP's hands are too numb and sore from GH abuse to type out novels like that, so you should be honored

Yes, you misunderstood. I said we are held to a different standard than men in society. Risky behavior is tolerated more for men than it is women, as we are considered to be the more subservient, humble, quietly responsible sex. How many women with brothers saw them get away with things that you wouldn't dream of doing? How many times has a woman been a subject of talk for being single/promiscuous when no one bats an eye when a man is doing the same?I have to agree with wunderpus unless I misunderstood your post... I'm taking it as you're implying that someone in this lifestyle, specifically a woman, can't have those same responsibilities or be accountable for their actions? That if we have to be the mother, female figure, we can't be in this lifestyle and/or sport where we take enhancement drugs that will help us look and perform better. Where men...or...boys will be boys... do whatever they please and it's ok for them?
To be frank, it does sound a lot like what the feminists complain about... It's just a pseudo-version as you wish to not be associated with them. I will address each of your points in the first post, with my opinions, as you wish.
Women have more at stake - it's an illegal and dangerous activity to experiment with drugs, especially for a hobby. We are upheld to a different standard than men because more often than not, we are mothers, caregivers, career women.
This is ludicrous. You have nothing more to lose than I do. I work a real job, and I make real money. My life would be over as I know it if I were to be arrested and/or jailed for possessing a scheduled substance. I have government and other bodies regulating my employment and certifications for what I do.... HOW do you have MORE at stake than I do? I am a caregiver, I am a provider to many. I cannot be a mother so I don't understand how that's relevant in terms of potential consequences.
The old saying is 'boys will be boys' and it carries over even into adulthood. Violence, adultery, gambling, risky activity, and general rabble rousing is much more tolerated with men than it is women.
The old saying, huh? How do you feel about generalizations or stereotypes about women, especially when being used to paint myself as a potential victim? Hmm. Not so nice when the coin is flipped, yeah? I will opt out of using a stereotype about women out of respect to all of the others who view this thread.
So along with the points GG made, it comes down to our position in society. Our careers are considered privileges; our responsibilities of motherhood and housekeeping too serious for us to be compromising with substances that could make us incapable of doing our jobs.
Careers considered privileges? Weird, I'd bet all the women in my office wouldn't call their success a privilege, they would call it a result of hard work. They don't sit around and mope about how oppressed they are, they are proactive, rather than reactive. Again with the motherhood, I could potentially be a father (although I am not as far as I know).... But, if I WERE a father, it is no less or more important than your position as a father. Housekeeping? Is this the 1800's?
Women carry a lot more guilt to admit to participating in illegal and dangerous activity.
Again, speaking on behalf of all women. I'm sure they'd be proud to have you as their spokesperson. Oh, and you know how much guilt men carry, do you? Or, let me guess, that's an assumption....?
How can you disagree with the real life experiences we face as women each and every day?
How can you generalize women as a whole, and expect them to carry all the "poor me" delusions of victimization and sexism that you do?
These aren't imagined limitations and discrimination that braless, hairy armpitted feminists are complaining about, they are actual studied phenomena and proven cultural occurrences of women and our 'place' in society.
They really do appear to be imagined. It's clear you are letting your delusions and insecurities rule your mindset.
At the end of the day, I respect the hell out of @GearGodess. She is a go getter and has the epitome of a winner's mindset, she is most definitely not made from the same cloth you are. I am not a sexist, I am not a feminist, I am not an anti-feminist... I am a person who believes in equal rights regardless of skin color, sex, religion, sexual orientation etc. I will judge you on your statements alone.

Defensive? I am arguing a point, not being defensive. In no way, shape or form do I feel threatened by you, so there's no need to be defensive. My comments were not judgements against men. They were not a critique of society. They were a real life explanation of why a woman would deny AAS usage as discussed with other women and why many of us keep a low profile.
I openly smoke weed...it's so rare to see women engaging in weed smoking and it is for the same reasons.
Being a person who has a alternative lifestyle in a conventional world, I often discuss these things with other ladies and these are the concerns they face.
Stop being so defensive.

Your comments very CLEARLY were a critique of society, saying otherwise doesn't change what was clear as day.
You turned the simple fact that women are shy about AAS usage into a full on rant about how women are oppressed in society. Sounds like you've practiced that one a bit, I bet you and a lot of your girl friends sit around and bitch about this shit all the time...
You really seem beaten down by your own insecurities.
You think I'm conventional? HA! Oh, but society worships me because I have a dick and my life was way easier than yours... Right? I didn't work my ass off in school to get the job I have. I didn't miss out on a ton growing up because I strived to be successful. I also am certainly not oppressed or treated differently because I have tattoos (when I exit a target in shorts and a t shirt my bag always gets checked, in pants and a long sleeve shirt the bag does not)....
Oh, wait, maybe some of those things are true! Do I bitch about them and use them as excuses? No. Get OVER it!
Here are a few of your insightful gems.... None of which appear to be a critique of society, or judgments against men.... Just in case you forgot:My comments were not judgements against men. They were not a critique of society. They were a real life explanation of why a woman would deny AAS usage as discussed with other women and why many of us keep a low profile.

Oh no! The big tough meanie girl who has self-confidence issues and probably never met her dad is insulting my comprehension skills?!LOL. Are you for real, brah?
I think we may have a reading comprehension problem here.
Right? I guess I should just post pics of my abs and talk about my fake tits so I can start to win some popularity contests around here.Dang this thread took a turn real quick
How many posts do you need to make for sympathy? Are you neglected at home? Do you need a shoulder?Right? I guess I should just post pics of my abs and talk about my fake tits so I can start to win some popularity contests around here.

You want to win a popularity contest? You care? Or is that something that only men can win?
I hope this isn't directed at me but...I kinda take offense to this... just because I have abs and fake titties, it makes me better or more popular than anyone else?Right? I guess I should just post pics of my abs and talk about my fake tits so I can start to win some popularity contests around here.

I personally have never posted such pics as I'm very discreet with them but I can say this.... everything I have in my life stems from hard work. Including my fake titties that I earned and paid for them myself. I've been in this lifestyle for over 20 years and there is nothing easy about it. I'm a sucessful career woman with many passions and it doesn't make me irresponsible, or whatever else you said, just because i chose to take care of my body with gear and devotion to this sport.
Happycamper, I know you're pretty opinionated as I've seen your strong posts going back and forth with Dr.Jim but we are here as a family...to help and learn from each other not be judged.
Not at all. I don't think I've even seen a single picture of you.I hope this isn't directed at me but...I kinda take offense to this... just because I have abs and fake titties, it makes me better or more popular than anyone else?

I post topless pics and it never makes me any more popular
