WWE

Huge WWE guy here. I get a lotta weird looks and made of fun from friends, but I grew up watching it with my dad when it was still "cool". Been to plenty of indy events, some ROH and hopefully a WWE house show with the Raw roster in a few weeks.

Anyways,
The Promo of the Year (so far) and of Miz's career:

That was "AWESOME". Interesting to see where they go with it since DB cant wrestle in WWE. Since DB is the face, can he come after the Miz?*

*Ive read in rumors he may have someone fight for him

Of course you're a huge WWE guy - you are the advocate for Brrrrrrock Lesnarrrrrrrrr!!!

And of course you'll get weird looks from folks that "don't get it", which is fine, bc we already get weird looks for looking like over inflated balloon animals, from folks that don't get that either.:)

They have rumors that Db may have one more match down the road, or that he will "hand pick" a challenger for the miz and it could be Samoa Joe or Nakamura

I would love for Joe to come out. But Im actually a Miz fan. I have his sbirts and all. I dont want him to be a sacraficial lamb for anyone.

When the hulkster was at the top of his game(i was born in '84 so gimme a break) early nineties(?) I had a tshirt of his. That mutha was everybodies hero. I mean everybody. I remember watching wrestlemania on 3,5,or 9 cant remember. Had to get up and turn the dial. Those were bar none the best days of wrestling. Then in to the attitude era wasnt bad either. Stone Cold, the Rock undertaker etc.

I still think fondly of those memories

Theeeeeeen Ultimate Warrior came on the scene. OH MY GAWD:eek:!!!

Nobody looked like him back then. Dude had like a 4 yr run but was probably the most intense run any wrestler ever made in the business. Legions of fans even after his death on a 4 yr career

Interesting to note that a very young, very inexperienced tag team was formed in the mid-80's named The Blade Runners, consisting of two really green weight lifters. Those two guys would go on to later become The Ultimate Warrior and Sting. I guess they did alright for themselves. ;)

Warrior's promos were too weird for me lol, never really got into him. Plus him kicking out of like 5 Macho elbows at Mania (awesome match worth watching again btw) pissed me off.

Once the Hogan era was over (Rumble 92 - he got booed for eliminating Sid and acting like a complete heel for some reason), Sting was the biggest babyface in the US IMO. His matches with Vader were fucking awesome too.

Some tag team action. The Steiners and LOD are my shiiiit.

Also I used to be a big Demolition fan. Now they look like S&M freaks.

Are you kidding Demolition were the best tag team ever Axe and Smash nuff said!

I cried when Hulk lost to the Warrior worst day of my childhood life and I had to watch it all go down at my cousins house live and he was a fucking warrior fan, pure hell on earth being hogans biggest fan. Move on down the road and it was The Undertaker who is still my favorite even though I dont watch WWE anymore.

The best promo ever? I'm surprised no one brought up the "Shockman" promo from WCW?!? If you've never seen it watch it it's the funniest wrestling promo ever period
