What’s your go to meal?

Real Baby gold potatoes , with some "extra skin" , because peeling a baby potato is tedious work with a old fashioned hand peeler, i also use a hand masher to get them baby's nice and consistent, add some butter a lil 2% fairlife and "whip it good" ;)

Oh man, u know I’m pretty certain I was the first guy to post 1, 2 or fat free fair life. It’s just pricey . Walmart or winco , I get a half gal fat free milk close to fair life I think $3.50? Instead of $5.50.

And my wife loves to peal potatoes compared to me. I only cut of the roots or rotten parts. I even russets are great for me.

Your where i got the idea of the Fairlife milk actually, i saw your post of it plus the commercials on tv i am HOOKED, it is pricey though, i need to shop at winco or walmart, my brother been telling me that for years,, lol

I've been cutting and my main meal has been steak, tomatoes, peppers, and spinach. Clementines for desserts. Hits my macros and provides lots of micronutrients.

You can catch the fairlife on a 3.50-4.50 sale when you buy 4+ from time to time. The dates on it are so good i always try to stock up with a case or two. Chocolate for the morning coffee, fat free to cook with

You’d need to be in my geographic district for my recommendation to be meaningful.

I worked sales in that category with Walmart as my biggest client. They have edlp and roll back pricing. Edlp is often the highest price you will find any food/beverage item in your area, roll back will be the highest “sale” price in your area. Stand alone grocery stores, specifically regional chains, run far more aggressive ads. There’s usually 3 majors per region. Look there first, flipp app will make your ad hunting job a lot easier.

The savings from a freezer and spare fridge in the garage is crazy. Which you can pour directly into your HGH fund for more gains.

I do a lot of cooking and being able to make whatever dish I please on any given night is also a huge plus, without factoring in the severely reduced cost per meal. Also comes in handy for spontaneous cook outs.

Walmart only stays in business due to convenience and their big box items. Margins on food and beverage are razor thin, they consider 3% (before factoring in shrink) to be good, with anything over 7.5% great. They do not run a loss leader strategy like many other chains, most famously Costco. Every item that walks out that door is profitable on its own. And that profit is passed along to you with a higher baseline price.

I didn’t read through the whole thread so forgive me if something similar has been mentioned but my go to meal, on a bulk or mass cycle has always been steak and eggs. I like meals I can make in one pan or pot. Pan seared steak, 3 or 4 eggs over easy on top of 2 slices of whole wheat toast, sometimes for breakfast and again for dinner. Quick, easy and no big mess to clean up.

My go to is either creamy chicken pasta or rice with chicken + vegetables. Both are solid staples meaning high in protein, easy on the stomach, and once you get the hang of cooking them, they’re actually quick and super tasty.

They hit all the macros I need, especially post-workout, and I can switch up the seasonings to keep it interesting. Sometimes I get tired of them but they do bring most of the things that I need so I stick to it.

If anyone wants the recipe or ingredient breakdown let me know

I second that, i would just add a bit of red potato, baked on which i would marinade in a nice layer of fresh spices and herbs with a small drizzle of olive oil. Love it!

Does that mean you get better deals on food from Walmart or Costco?

My go to when I need to tighten up and watch what I’m consuming is:

93/7 or 97/3 ground turkey

Jasmine rice

Bell peppers
Mushrooms
Onions
Dale’s or Moore’s seasoning

Brown turkey and half the diced vegetables in the soy based seasoning liquid. Cook rice separately. Combine meat, vegetables and rice in pan and sauté quickly to meld the flavors.

Remove from heat and let cool. Store enough to eat for one meal for 7 days straight.
