It's not meant for keeping score against sources.

I am not going to sit here or advocated to send messages to random people. Maybe for new people that want to be spoon fed and this was a bartering tool for them to be taken seriously

This thread was made for people to donate after reading it out of the goodness of their heart.

I genuinely feel that you turned this into ANOTHER tool to harass sources because you are bored

Guys… for fucks sake… stfu and let’s think of the children.. this was amazing to do, no matter what the initial intent was. I, for one, was inspired by this thread, and not only donated to Jude’s but also reached out to my local children’s hospital and set up a fund there. Let’s channel that energy into something better, maybe we can make this a yearly, or quarterly thing. Idk. Think of the children’s fellas, it’s not that deep.

Sources aren’t allowed to post themselves in here, only reason I am pulling it in here, so people who wouldn’t have gone to their thread, can still see. And the PERSON, behind the source can get the recognition like everyone else posting here. Not to keep score.

I was made aware of this thread earlier today and wanted to contribute. I agree with @Spaceman Spiff. No child should ever have to endure such hardship. Few things are as lovely and heartwarming as a child's smile and laughter.

I am unable to post on the above thread, so I am posting here instead, hoping that those who see this will be willing to contribute.

As we all know, life is short... It's not fair to these kids who suffer from cancer. Please help support them and their families.

There is an ongoing joke that I would release the sources I used for those who donate a 50+ dollars to these kids. It seems like some people are running with the joke and donating regardless of sources being released.

Some of us may bicker, complain at each other, one thing that we agree is that no kid should be experiencing cancer. They should be out running around, riding their bike, getting laid, and starting their life.


So please, have a heart. Even if its 5-10 dollars.

I've been donating monthly for about 4 years now. Just 25 bucks a month, but to know that you are helping and being able to see how your donation is helping is very heartwarming and satisfying. I'm very grateful and blessed to have 2 healthy adult kids and 2 healthy toddler grandchildren and it's a blessing to know there are places like St Judes providing a great service to those in need.

I dont agree with donating to something that has already been paid… you’s do know that the government pays for this stuff then asks for donations?? Same as when a grocery store asks u to pay for thanksgiving meals… already covered they just want their money back and a way to pay less taxes or some other way to gain an advantage of a loop hole… its all a scam…

much like rich nfl players asking for donations after a hurricane… SMFDH… all those strings attached to someones heart like a fucken puppet…. All for what? To pay more money thats been taxed a million times that we pay… its a joke… and a scam… ask for donations… why? Because big pharma wont release the cure…

Idk if you are familiar with how alot of grants works for families with cancer.

Do you have any first hand experience with these type of funds? Or families with cancer?

Certain organizations pull money from funding to help cover copays, housing, costs for people, transportation.
