Acne

I used to get bacne really bad (some cystic almost the size of a quarter) with test but i was able to control it by showering 2-3 times a day, using alcohol on problem areas, and wearing a clean shirt to bed every night.

Lorello please stop being a dick to members on here about their name or anything like that - they here juat like you for help and info / yes 20mg isotretinion a day works great as long as your acne is not very bad ...however you will need to use that Accutane (isotretinion) for at least 10weeks to make, sure it doez its job (really 20-30weeks is truly bezt if that small of dose us used)
Acne usually comes most after cycle, during pct or after pct as your bodys, hormones start to try and regulate themselves and ur all messed up ...you can go the fix it now way but your acne, will almoat always,be,back for sometimes short time or sometimes long time ....from my exsperence pedsonally i would recommend 20mg-40mg isotretinion ed for 20-30weeks to cure acne for long time (a year or more) something to think about for,not just present time but future as well

Look buddy. I said that his username "illuminatty" was a cool name because I thought it was creative. You are the one being a dick. I was giving him a compliment. How about you stop assuming stuff and mind your business. In life you can get yourself into a boatload of problems for jumping to conclusions. Why do you feel the need to tell me what to do like you have some kind of authority over me? I was being friendly to the guy. You are weird.

Thanks for telling me why MESO was created. I appreciate it.

liquid accutane through a research chem. 10-20mg per day, skip some days even.

i'm 32 and have had acne for 18 years, so most of my life. this is the only stuff that has ever, ever, truly worked. sides are dryness. that's pretty much it for me.

hopefully it will all be gone in a year if i keep using.

In the United States, not only do you need a prescription, there is a special program from the FDA called iPledge that requires enrollment by the patient, doctor and pharmacist. It has a LOT of requirements that must be followed.
I'm unsure of the rules on this forum for posting links, but you can do a google search for accutane iPledge to learn about the requirements for all parties involved.

I went through this hassle a few years ago. It was worth it at the time (I had no alternative), but now I just use naps.

U only need a prescription if you are going to buy it from a pharmaceutical company from a doctor.....that being said Accutane works no questions and cures acne in the long run ...its easy to get it without a "dr"

Hello, I was referred to this site by a friend who recommended that I ask a general men’s health question here. I am 27 years old and not using any type of supplements or doing any kind of intense exercise program. However one side of my family has a history of acne and my whole life I have had moderate to severe acne on my upper body. When I was in my teens I went through two 6 month cycles of Accutane which seemed to lessen the acne but not resolve it. Since then studies have shown it not to be safe and I would prefer not to resort to it. I have also tried the topical cream treatments and I am currently on a 6 month oral antibiotic cycle. The antibiotics seem to hold the outbreak in check but not reverse or help the situation. I had a consultation with a dermatologist a couple months ago as well and they informed me they could try laser therapy or skin peels but nothing was guaranteed to work and those are costly treatments. Does anybody have any other suggestions or is anybody familiar with other remedies that I could try other than the typical perscriptions on here of topical creams, antibiotics, accutane? Thanks in advance for any help or advise.

I've had some issues before and the antibiotics worked awesome. The topical cream didn't do shit though. Try the strongest benzoyl peroxide wash you can find which is most likely 10% and leave that shit on your skin for at least 3-5 min in the shower so it actually penetrates... Giggitty lmao

Demand your doctor culture the pus & blood from inside the acne. Then they can prescribe the correct antibiotic. I find it outrageous that more doctors don't do this even for cystic acne.

Instead these morons follow a path or course of action. Retin-A, tetracycline, more facial gels, etc... Seems to take years to get prescribed Accutane. Same type plan most psychiatrists follow for psychiatric medication.

[1975] Milk of Magnesia Treatment for Acne
http://archderm.jamanetwork.com/article.aspx?articleid=534756

To the Editor.— I have found a nightly topical application of milk of magnesia, when combined with 250mg of tetracycline orally administered four times daily and two daily washes with a fat-free soap, to be highly effective in the reduction of redness from postinflammatory lesions and in the number and severity of acne pustules. Realizing that a laxative as topical medication is not ordinarily prescribed in acne treatment, I write this letter with the two-fold hope that my success in this area may also be shared by those physicians treating this condition, and that this method may become a viable alternative to the abrasion and irritation inflicted with alcohol and sulfur-based compounds.

I just had some bad cystic acne from a high dose tren cycle I had ran with test e, got worse through PCT... Well I've been doing everything under the sun to get rid of it. So long story short I just ordered some Isotretinoin from Great White with a 45% off code I had. So later on that night I find a full bottle of Prednisone that I had, popped 30mg. Woke up the next morning more than 50% healed. I was astonished. Took another 30mg this morning. Now I'm over here waiting on a parcel of Tane that I don't even need. Hmmmm wonder what I should so with it...

Prednisone cures alot of different issues, and works great but if your like me you blew up like a freakn balloon when on it.

I've always cleaned my face with alcohol and then applied real Aloe Vera. This process works well for me, but I've never had a real issue w/ acne like some people.
