All I know is I searched the address through blockchain(dot)com to make sure my payment was received, and I saw atleast 15 transactions in 2 days in the same address. I don't know if that even makes sense (segue to the fundamentally a retard part again). Is it possible all those transactions weren't his, being that the wallet always changes?

It could be confirmations of your transaction. They might appear like separate transactions.
