Baseball

Any of you see the autopsy results from the Angels pitcher who passed away earlier this season?
Booze, fentanyl, and oxy found in his system.
So fukin sad.
And my Orioles still suck. No one is beating Houston.

It's horrible. Choked on his own vomit, poor kid. Family is super pissed, as they should be. Looking for someone to blame.

You think he had a life insurance policy through MLB?

Not sure bud. Most players will take out their own policies as far as i know.
Now if we find out team physicians had been prescribing him those meds the Angels will be in hot shit.
Just a sad story.

Let’s go Astros!!!

i agree. Go Astros. Go home to watch the world series from the comfort of your respective living quarters.

:D

Not looking good for the Yanks. Never been a fan of the Astros or Nationals. i'll probably sit it out and watch the recaps online if that's our final matchup this season.

It goes without saying that baseballs offseason free agency is painful. So much waiting and rumors. Of course a simple prescription is to just ignore it. But, my Eagles stink and the 76ers look like the same team from last year. Anyone else looking forward to pitchers/catchers reporting in Feb?

We would go down to RI when I was young and see them play. I saw Mo Vaughn play there before the bigs. He stunk haha, like the bigs :D

I remember the plastic soda cups had been branded with all the stats from that game. Probably around 30 years now.

They're moving to Worcester now. Stadium was being built until all the covid stuff happened.
