The long answer is - I think most of them are basically set up for a person who KNOWS what they want (whether it a specific test, prescription etc.). You can find a service to get what you WANT/are looking for (within reason...opioids and Benzos are a no-go I would assume but have never tried...lol).Yes, please.
Not for me, obviously, but just to discuss symptoms .
Thank you
The next variable is which provider you actually end up with. I think most are just looking to fulfill a quota. I could be wrong but I presume a lot of providers are just doing the telehealth thing as a side gig. They are not heavily invested in exploring a complicated issue (and I cant blame them). To be honest, my experience has been that even most PCPs aren't heavily invested in exploring or solving a complex issue.
I would look at Telehealth providers as a tool to push forward with the next step in exploring an issue (for example, with TRT - I only had access to pellets locally...errrm, tried it once and said "screw that.")
Lipids, BP, and sexual health needs are probably all next up on them list (and I guess psychiatric/antidepressants).
I doubt an actual GOOD service exists for trouble shooting a specific health issue via telehealth but I could be wrong. (And would be happy to hear otherwise). Truthfully, I'm not convinced good medicine can be practiced via telehealth any more than AI can be used to help parse through and spit out some info
The true art and practice of medicine is in the history and physical exam - both dying arts I suspect everywhere (maybe not in the East with Traditional Chinese Medicine...but I digress... no, I'm not a wacko...I don't think ..lol)
Hopefully someone weighs in with some actual helpful information...lol
