BigTomJ's Training and Everything Log

Ya, especially after that... there's nothing left, lol

Allright, Mister.

Following the accurate medical we had to perform to give you permission to join this forum, it has been confirmed you are the proud owner of the biggest sized cojones on Meso.
So, you are just having a poke at me because you wanted me to make the information publicly available.
There.
Now you can go brag about it for the rest of the week.
:)

I'm still here and still training.

We've been off everything for nearly 3 months now to take the time and focus on fertility for me and my wife to get our family started.

Weight is down to 248 this morning, with composition holding steady.

Food is still high with almost 5k calories and 600g of carbs on training days.

Strength/work capacity has taken a bit of a hit with no androgens in my system, but I'd say I'm still training at about 90-95% of my peak blast strength and capacity. Recovery is still solid.

What I'm taking right now:
2000iu HCG EOD
75iu HMG EOD (opposite of HCG)
50mg enclomephene ED
3iu GH

This is gonna continue for as long as it takes for me and my wife to get pregnant, then right back into things.

I plan on bringing back my daily training log posts as well this week.

You're holding nice for off drugs. That's a hefty dose of enclo though, have you done any labs out of curiosity to see your TT? It still might be very high, if i'm not mistaken a normal dose is 12,5mg a day isn't it? Do you take anything for estrogen control?

Best of luck with your fertility.

following up with my doc beginning of december for analysis, if we havent conceived by then.
LH/FSH will never be able to tell the whole story when it comes to fertility so i think of actual analysis to be basically the be all end all
Yea motility right?

What were your expectations with this, if you had any, that is?
Did you think it was going to be a straightforward process?

my expectation is that we wont have too much difficulty but that it may take a while (6-8 months maybe).

I have not been on gear that long, relatively speaking. I did my first cycle in the end of 2021 and been b/c since then.
On most cruise periods we have included at least some HCG in an attempt to prevent atrophy, but we had some androgens in that entire time, meaning it has been a considerable amount of time in a suppressed state.

However, some people have a decade of continuous gear use under their belt and still get their partners pregnant without HCG.
So im expecting that i WILL be able to regain meaningful fertility, but in all reality it may take a while.

Tom, this "off" period for fertility is just to boost a healthier "environment" for conception, right? You weren't having conception issues before, right? Just curious bro, I have friends who've been "surprised" with pregnancies while on gear, even with shriveled testies. If I'm asking TMI, sorry brother.

Thank you.
Your time frame is quite realistic.
I wouldn't be surprised if it happens sooner rather than later.
Look into a bit of acupuncture.
It has been shown to be helpful, for both male and female.
I mean, idk how reliable those accounts are but might as well try.

We have made no attempts at PREVENTING conception for 2 years with no "surprises". We havent used any contraceptive measures, including pull out method, in that time.

With that experience so far, i expect that the time off and fertility treatment is fairly necessary for us to conceive in a timely fashion

You probably read the posts about members here getting someone pregnant whilst on tren.
I was aghast, tbh.
I hope those kids are OK, lol.
It's just that having learnt a bit about it now, it kinda sounds a bit scary...

Also, Tom, the top of your fridge is classic bodybuilder, lol

I was unable to find any evidence that any AAS would ahve any impact on birth defects rate.

Most risk for birth defects comes from the female side and the only things that it seems can really impact birth defect risk in males are things that actually impact the DNA of the sperm.

On that topic, Metformin is one of those drugs that may do exactly that.

but outside of that coincidence there really is not much a guy can do to increase the risk of birth defects from my research.

oh absolutely.
We are a mealprep and gym household

Tom,
When the time comes... If you havn't already looked into it... consider "prenatal vitamins" for your spouse.
I have 2 boys, top 1% in the USA school testing (knock on wood - even though I'm a "momo" and my x-wife is the dullest tool in the shed), and we consistently had those vitamins for both. Neither one is an athlete like me though, so there is, IMO, a "trade off." lol.
The DHA stuff in them, from what I remember, helps with both mom and baby.
Wish you all the best!
