I bought the home in 2019 intending to do minor renovations (new drywall in the living room, redo kitchen and bathroom, new floors and carpets, paint) to make the property a bit nicer and up to date.
Dang, seems like u know alot of the stuff I know about building, and u have a office job? Are you In the construction field? Re framing a roof and replacing sill plates properly is not easy, if I dont do it my self I'd have my next best carpenter do it.
Thats even more impressive than you dead lifting my my max for reps and with really good form and control. I would be lucky of I could get 495 for 1 atm.
I have done a bunch of those gut rebuilds, they are more of a pain in the ass than build new from scratch, I could frame a new mansion in 6 months to re frame a old Victorian house 1850's - 1930's might take me 2 years, with a bad ass crew. Mainly because a lot of them are required to be historically correct with seismic retrofits and steel beams and all, and new foundations under.
I just did this little gut job like u said from a house from the early 1900s above this door all they had was double top plates and the whole house and floor above sunk In so I had to put a beam under the joists and reframe it all with some beefy ass framing i had to Jack the whole house up with a 6x6 posts and big bottle jacks, I've had to level entire houses like that also.
