bluetooth headphones

I haven't bought any BT headset yet, but instinctively I'd shy away from Bose and Beats, those are mass-market POS products for the brand sensitive.

Sennheiser has a few focused on sports
Sport Headphones - Running Aerobic ... Sennheiser
No BT products yet.

I respectably disagree with you regarding Bose. I am no shill or Bose Fan-boy. But to group Bose with Beats as mass-market POS, in my book is kinda harsh! Bose been in this business for over 50yrs.. If they're built a POS product.. I highly doubt they'll survive for that long!I would agree that Beats (now own by Apple) is mass-market-which by the way, works for those that can't tell the difference in sounds and built quality. I think Consumer Reports took apart Beats and stated the "guts" were made from cheap parts.. and added weights to the outer casing (giving that heavy=better built quality that most consumer look for) to fool the customer. I actually own a set of Beats (brought for my son- since it was the "in" thing-but he got tried of it..typically "Now" generation! But he used his own money tho!) and I was NOT impress with the sound quality. They tried to hide the sound quality by giving way to much bass reproduction- works for the newer generations-but for us old timer, I rather HEAR the music then bass!

I like Bose and willing to spend the $$, if it fits my need.. Not the fact, to show it off- I care less of the brand-- but if it works, I'll buy it! case in point, my $20.00 earplugs for Cardio workout.. I could have spend on Bose earplugs.. but, comparing the sound quality and doing Cardio/HIIT workout.. I am more focus on catching my breath then worry about sound quality..lol! So that $20.00 earplugs serve it purpose nicely :)

I should have said I'm a bit of an audiophile. Bose is good for noise canceling headsets, but they don't do HiFi.

Stax, Beyer, Final Audio, Sennheiser and some others are a good deal ahead of Bose. Pricier too of course.

At the price point they compete in, I guess Bose isn't too bad. Although, it's much better to buy Audio-Technica instead. Buying Bose is simply paying for their marketing, they're not worth it. And anyone impressed by the brand just haven't heard real hifi.

Spot on.

Audio-Technica, Beyerdynamic, Klipsch etc. are all brands that I would choose over most of the more popular offerings any day. Even a pair of cheap Sennheiser's would more than likely surpass some of the more heavily marketed brands on the market....for much cheaper too.

I'm still sticking with my $20 dollar pair. I just need reasonably priced, loud, and clear haha

I'll agree with in regards to more pricier brands..I am not a true audiophile like my brother- so spending $$$ just for the brand or true Hifi experience.. is not my cup of tea..:) But I am willing to pay (to a certain point) for quality product.. I don't purchase things just because some rapper or football players "sporting it".. I actually do my research (same as you) before I spent my hard earn $$$.. cheers!

Already posted this on the gear review thread bit for anyone that uses earbuds check out the comply memory foam tips. They sell them to fit any brand and the improvement in sound quality is unreal. I have a cheap 30 dollar pair of Bluetooth headphones and they sound like a 200 pair.

So about 2 weeks ago i dropped over a hundo on some jaybird x2 bluetooth buds and they were ok...for about a week and then the sound started cutting in and out and the charging port caved in and they really didnt sound that awesome and they were kinda uncomfortable so i returned them, expected alot more for $120 buds. Just got the qcy qy8's i ordered and they sound pretty fantastic and are super comfortable so we will see how they hold up

I've been beating the shit out of my qy8s since December. Sounds great, stay put (use the shark fins), and they've held up to five months of outdoor lifting and sweat, getting torn from my head by bar ends, and played with by a three year old.

Good fucking investment in my book.

Yeah they feel pretty solid. Ahit if i get five months or more out of them for 25 bucks i will be more than happy haha

Most corded headphones I buy last about two months with me, if that. At any price range. I'm pretty pleased with them.

Soundpeats qy7 fucking awesome and I mean awesome Bluetooth headphones for the 20 dollar price tag. They spanks most 100+dollar headphones I've heard imo

I bought the skull candy from Best Buy. They were about $50 and work pretty good. The bass is not as good as some of my other headphones but I didn't want to pay the price for beats. I also like the buds better than the earpiece.

I've heard the jaybirds are a mixed bag anyhow. While I like my el cheapo Kinivos I am looking for a headset that's loud and darn good sounding so I can pound the angry beat while lifting. Lemme know how those qy8s are.
