!!!!! Found millipore pdvf in .22um straight from Fischer for 190USD/100 shipped. They seem to sell everything not sure how I missed this all this time.
Flow rate: 6.9mL/min./cm^2. A 47mm membrane would have 17.35 sq/cm so 119ml/min. I assume that’s aqueous and not oils but still nice to see it listed and I may sells bac water now lol
I assume from holidays post above that pdvf is the best of the best though I’ve used others based on availability, and EMD milipore says this about it “Composed of polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) that binds far less protein than nylon, nitrocellulose or PTFE membranes” not applies to oils but nice to know it’s sorts of universal for everything.
So I’m not going to complain about $2.00/filter vs $0.75-$1.00 for nylon or ptfe. I don’t know why anyone who can autoclave doesn’t use membranes filters. 1-2USD vs 10-15 for bottle top.
