COMPLETE PEC RUPTURE/TEAR

Much respect OP... ----Make a Goal, Devise a Plan, Follow the Plan, Enjoy the LIFE...Praying you a speedy recovery. PS. Have you ever considered running some HGH for its repairing quality's??? And another question, Were you running any Deca or NPP at the time of the injury?? (I was wondering if the joints were feeling so good and loose that you didn't feel warning pains)

Hey bro, thanks for your kind words.

Okay, its all arranged. Gonna go down like this - sling comes off in two weeks instead of four, my staples come off on Thursday. I will begin with bodyweight work, all very slow and deliberate motions. None of my rehab work will involve me extending my elbows greater than 90 degrees.

Im throwing most of the "repair protocol" i have received into my burn pit.

Ive decided to start an hgh kit to go along with my 800 test/wk, 900 deca.

Ive spoken with numerous doctors about what my timeline for recovery to be. The generic timeline doesnt allow for any deviation, so F that.....

Besides my irregularily rapid healing gift, my situation will also heal much more quickly due to my muscle being used to recovering from the heavy lifting trauma most days of my life.
Thwy all said being a National level lifter and lifetime athlete will speed up healing.

The best news came from one of the top orthopedic surgeons in the US, out of Connecticut. I told him WHOLE plan for recovery, and he told me that realistically i will heal faster than moat people imagine possible. He attributed it to my relentless attitude, and HGH.

Hgh wise, he mentioned he saw a study where in operations reattaching tendons on bone - 250/250 healed in record time - the closest situation to mine healed almost 6 x the rate of those without hgh who werent athletes.

Im not gonna play dumb, but im not following 50 year old protocol documents.

He said i should get into resistence training immediately after my staples come out. And increase as my body comfortably allows after the total post op time reaches 8 weeks.

Should be interesting!

Fuck yeh!!! Great attitude and determination--- I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if you came back stronger and more determined than ever... Some situations break the man- Some situations make the man(serve as opportunities to reaffirm who you are and what your about/rise to the occasion) It's obvious you compete on the national level for a reason. Keep us posted---

BTW they took parts of my hip and grafted it to my shoulder. I was on the exact same pain meds as you felt like crack head lol. The pain was the worst I've ever had. My shoulder looks terrible looks wise and I am about 90% back to it's function but do not expect 100% push your rehab and focus on recovery

Hey all,

Was training for the Canadian Nationals (Bench Only). Unassisted, so no bench shirts or most elbow sleeves.

Two Saturdays ago, i was training bench with my strength coach. I was working up to my max, and while using a weight i had done MANY times before - there was a quick ripping sensation on my right side and a very audible "pop". My strength went to zero on the right side immediately and the weight crashed down on that side of me.

All the "hardcore" lifters knew what happened and came to rescue my coach and I. They packed me with ice and held everything together with lifting wraps.

I see an orthopaedic surgeon tomorrow with my MRI, but i wanna go in with reasonable expectations and timeline for recovery.

Does anybody have any experience, knowledge or stories that might help?
Im gonna try and post a pic....

Thanks

Fuck that looks brutal. Sorry to hear this.
