I missed that you’re cutting since February. Yeah, take a break
Well I did a diet break already, May 9 for two weeks. I haven't been going nonstop since Feb. But I think it's time for another break.

OK. So last night I did a final binge: I took the wife to Cheesecake Factory and ate so many calories, I came home weighing 230 lol, literally gaining 15lbs in one day. I woke up this morning at 223lb, which is 8lbs heavier than usual.

The plan this week is to stop the clen (been on for nearly six weeks anyway), and go back to maintenance calories, just for one week this time, instead of two like last time.

I've never been this lean and this big, so perhaps I do need to incorporate refeeds and other strategies, but maybe one-week diet breaks every 4-6 weeks should do it as well.

Some have said that I look like I'm at 15% bf now, which I agree, so I'd have to eat at these calories marked in red, probably somewhere in between.

After this break, I will jump back on the clen and see how the body responds to the break. If I need another week, which I doubt, I'll do another.
I eat IIFYM style diet, so these binges are not cravings for certain foods, as I don't restrict myself; I believe they are my body literally telling me take a break, so I'm listening.

Also, took a BG test when I woke up and was 99, which is impressive after eating literally thousands of carbs and fats lol.

I also forgot to mention, after all the shit I ate, during my shoulder workout this am, I hit a new PR on the hammer shoulder press: four plates on each side, for 6 reps as my top set; then I dropped to 3 plates and knocked out 10. The thing is, the 3 plates were my top set last week lol. This just goes to show ho much weaker we are in a deficit, even if we don't feel like we are. I'm looking forward for this week to see how all my lifts go up.

Gained 8lbs so far on this diet break and binges... Clearly glycogen and water retention. Looking full as fuck. Inkedphoto_2022-07-05_18-04-46.jpg

Alright gents, here's the plan for phase three of my cut, which should be my final phase to get that last 10-12 lbs off my body.

> In phase one, I did PPL twice a week with Sunday off.
> In phase two, I did a unique spilt which I enjoyed, Back/Chest; Arms; Shoulders; Legs; Repeat, with Sunday off.

In this last phase, I'm going to go back to the good old bro split, Monday-Friday, with higher volume each day, with weekends off.

Why? Because as I am getting leaner, chances of building new tissue is going to be virtually zero, so I don't see the point of doing the routine I was doing before; therefore, I will focus more on pump work with straight sets, as my calories will be lower this time. Moreover, I'm going to incorporate cardio again to really get that fat off.

I think in the last two phases, I was causing so much muscle break down, so frequently, any cardio on top of that was making me hungrier. Hitting the gym 6x a week is certainly demanding, both on recovery and also calorically. Although I LOVE going to the gym more often, I also feel a bit beat up, even though my lifts went up and I feel fine once I get moving.

However, in this final phase, I will simply workout to maintain what I have, doing straight sets to technical failure, without causing too much breakdown. By not taxing the muscles too much, I won't be starving to death wanting to binge after doing cardio.

I will be incorporating 40 mins of cardio 5x a week. I plan to knock it out PWO where my GH will be at its peak. So I will go in the gym, knock out the one muscle group in 30-40 mins, then do LISS on the treadmill for 40 mins. Sure, I could separate my cardio and do it at night( I work out right after breakfast), as I have a treadmill at home, or even walk around my block, but I want to make sure I'm consistent and knock it out at the same time. And again, I'm not going to build any new tissue, so it won't "ruin" my gains or get in the way. Ultimately, at the end of the day, we all know it doesn't matter when you do it, because fat loss is CICO.

I will also jump back on clen at 40mcg only. I am debating whether or not to jack my HGH to 10ius a day, similar to what @Palifter is doing now. @Type-IIx stated that the more GH, the more fat loss will occur, so I might as well experiment.

Everything else will remain the same: cyp and primo both at 400mg per week; t3 at 50mcg ED; and var at 50mg ED. I will not be reintroducing tren e at this point; I don't have any left, nor do I think I want to take it again, as I want to stick to the "safest" steroids from now on.

I'm all ears for any suggestions. This will begin Monday, so I'm enjoying my diet break, looking full as a house at 227lbs this am, but I'm mentally getting ready for phase three.

Overall looks like a solid plan. It’s worth noting I’m on 10iu of HGH because we humans are creatures of habit and the idea of going any lower isn’t an option if that makes sense lol. I’m not sure how quantifiable the sole fat loss benefits will be going from 5iu to 10iu of HGH. I do know it won’t hurt, so if funds allow, by all means go for it. @Type-IIx I’m sure could elaborate further here but it’s splitting hairs.

The one things that does stick out is your T3 dosage. I’m a fan of running T3 as low as possible - think true replacement dose for endogenous thyroid function here. I think for most, 25mcg is more than enough in most cases. I think @Type-IIx might be of the same school of thought but I don’t want to speak on his behalf.

Just my 2 cents.

Indeed. The t3 dose for me was because I was using it as my primary fat burner and didn't add clen until phase two of my cut. From what I read, we make about 25mcg of T3 naturally, so it made no sense to shut down my own t3 just to take exogenous, which is why I chose 50mcg. And since permanent thyroid damage/shut down is a myth, I was going to run it until the summer ended, and stop it completely before I jump into my next bulk. I've been on t3 for over 7 months now. I probably didn't have to be, but I wanted to see what it can do.

The QSC kits are only 70 bux, compared to the Goodlyfe which is almost double, so I could easily afford 10ius a day with no issue. Thing is, I'm sure I'd actually gain intermuscular water weight from it, if I chose to go that route.

FINAL PHASE STARTS TOMORROW...EATING MY FINAL SHITTY MEALS FOR THE DAY, THEN ITS GAME OVER!

Whopping 230.5lbs this am... you can see the water retention on stomach and sides. This is a result of eating whatever I wanted for the last week, no counting calories or anything. Last night, took family to Carrabba's and also ate Cold Stone. I also took 10ius of GH yesterday; 5iu am and 5iu before bed.

I will continue taking 10ius for this phase three of my cut; all other doses of gear will remain the same.

Clen reintroduced this am at 40mcg.

Bro split routine, focusing more on cardio PWO.

This will be my final phase: eating ~2500 with cardio should take care of it.

Cals will be ~2550; meals set up below.

226.5 this am... I'm already losing a bit of water rention, however, the 10is of GH is making me look full as fuck. At the same time, the 10ius ED has me a bit lethargic in the morning.

I also feel a bit run down, but I think this is from the weekend, but perhaps I have a mild cold or something since my nose is a bit stuffy. It's easy to push through and hit the gym, but very annoying.

I still have tennis elbow, but it's slowly improving as I avoid anything that uses it in a position that hurts. My shoulders are still wrecked from maxing out a new PR on the hammer machine from last week; they feel sore inside the cuff. It's not torn or anything, but now I remember why I stopped pressing. Very annoying to deal with as well.

Either way, I'm pushing through. I ate exactly what is written in my diet app yesterday, and did 30mins LISS pwo.

The quick increase in HGH could explain the run down feeling.

Also monitor the tennis elbow on the new HGH dose too. If pain starts to go up, HGH could be the culprit and I’d recommend going back to 6iu and working up to 10iu over a week or two.

The run down feeling started last week; I started the 10ius yesterday, so I don't think it is that. I probably should have done two week diet break, and maybe even a week off the gym, but I'm just gonna plow through, and I'll have two days off this weekend.

224lb this am...slowly losing the weight I gained, but I think the 10ius of GH are putting more intermuscular water because I should have lost all the weight I gained over the diet break by now.

I've also switched my chicken and rice meal, to rice, ground beef, and olive oil instead; I'm getting sick of chicken.

I recently switched to 10iu as well, once you get through the initial bit of lethargy, going to 10 makes a pretty helpful & significant impact on recovery imo. Definitely feel better recovered after workouts with the same intensity/times per week in the gym now that the body readjusted.

Yea, I did 5iu am and 5iu pre bed; the 5iu pre bed helps a bit with sleep...

Today I started 10iu am, just to see how it is for the next few days. May get rid of that morning lethargy.

Left: 230 after I finished my diet break, gaining 17 lbs in a week lol.

Right: This am, weighing 220, losing 10lbs in five days.

The 10ius of GH are probably giving me an extra 5lbs of LBM since I am as lean as I was at 213lb now, without the 10ius.

This morning I weighed 218.5lbs

I should be lighter, and I think the 10ius are making me heavier, but I'm leaner, so we have to keep that in account.

I am liking the weekends off now. Did 30mins of cardio, six times last week. Was easy and it didn't increase my hunger.

216.9 am

I'm losing nearly a .75-1lb a day; Every morning I wake up I feel like I've been hit by a truck, and I'm quite lethargic at first: this must be the 10ius of GH, which I take each morning, but seems to carry on its affects even in the morning after, before taking it.
