Daily Log to 2019 Show Season

Man it's a helluva change to see from the first post to this. How old were you when you first competed? Did you have any natural talent, like one of those guys that just makes unbelievable progress when they start?

I mean..need some natural genetic capability to double bodyweight in 10yrs haha. But i don’t think I’m genetically elite.

I graduated HS at 18 at 110lbs. By 21 (natural) I was 160 after 3 years of training and eating mixed with partying my ass off in school. First cycle and show at 22. Another 60lbs gained since then.

Successfully resisted the temptation to eat any of my birthday cake this week. Cake can wait until I’ve got a few pieces of hardware and a procard in hand.

Went to bed like this and woke up at a new prep-low of 195.4

Nothing has changed with drugs or diet. We’re just around 4K cals with 220g carbs. 50m cardio. Slow and steady improvement not to to deplete too far for the qualifier. Save it for nationals.

Glutes look about 2-3 weeks from ready. Lower core (front and back) tend to be last on me. Tris are striating on both external heads. Quads/hams looking good.

Believe we’ll be adding proviron in this week, and that should be it for new gear for this show. Some tricks up our sleeve for Nats though.

Ronnie Coleman has 100lbs of muscle on me lol. He can do whatever the fuck he wants.

Gotta set the bar high man and do what the champs do. :)

Just fucking with bro. Kudos for showing these fellas what it takes to separate yourself from the pack. Literally everything matters. Those that don’t think so get second place (first loser).

Coming for over-all’s only. Less is a failure at this point.

Major changes from last prep mac. Great work sir!
Thanks bro. Think I’ll keep posting some of these. Builds me up a bit and can show some guys, competitor or not, that their goals are literally one solid effort away. They’re matching up really well as far as angles and poses. Here’s one from today. On stage 2017 vs today before training.

Man I just don’t see much more that you can lose unless it’s possibly in the glute/ham area. Maybe 5-8 more pounds max is all I could possibly see you going down. Whoever you’ve got dialing you in is doing a helluva job! I know you’re working your ass off...it’s def showing! People don’t have a clue what someone goes through to do this. I’ve got no room at all for negative people.... A good support group is def a key ingredient. It’s almost as important as nutrition. You’ve got this man! Focused all the way to the end! Be the last man standing...[emoji123]
